Thanks skoczy. Yeah, don't seem to be too many used ones around. Heard some clips and they seem to be quite versatile. The necks on the Regius are amazing looking.

Hi all. Been looking at these for a while, especially the Regius line (7 string version). Does anybody here own one and care to share their opinion? There seem to very few dealers in the States and it makes me more than a little nervous to drop that much change on something that I never got to take for a test drive.

Scokzy, you mean a pedal like this?

Try the Selmer T&B 1964. Great profile I've been playing this one for days on end... You really can't go wrong with any of the profiles that Andy has on his site.

+1 for the Grados. I have a pair of SR125s and RS2s and they sound like nothing else I have ever tried. I can't stand closed back cans either

Why do you want to use spdif?

I've read a ton of posts that complain about managing large amounts of rigs and I have that problem too. Maybe a simple solution would be to allow the user to create custom folders that he could move rigs in and out of. I'm not talking about a "criteria" based filter, but a real folder just like in a file system. That way, it would be easy to say, go to all of my Marshal rigs or see my experimental rigs.
What do you think?

I read that "other" forum for pure amusement sometimes. Everytime I see a thread like the link that Guitartone posted, I'm even more convinced that I bought the right unit. Friggin hilarious.
Rock on

Will,
Just wondering... Instead of reducing the number of rigs you have on the box, isn't it easier to just add the ones you play all the time to the favorites category? And then just set the "sort by" option to favorites?

I'm way above the 400 mark and I have been trying to get rid of some rigs to make things more manageable for myself. The problem is I really can't find something that sounds bad enough to delete. I guess its a good problem to have.

So I've had the KPA for about a month now and I've literally played it everyday for 4+ hours since I got it ( I really can't put my guitar down). I can't say that about any other unit that I have ever had. I was just wondering if I'm the exception or if other users have had a similar experience?
Every time I get a new piece of gear, no matter whtat it happens to be, I inevitablly get the " buyer's high" syndrome and in a few days it fades away and just becomes just another tool in the electronic pile that seems to get bigger every year. Even worse, I get the feeling that for as much time that I've put into it so far, I get feeling that I'm really just scratching the tip of the iceberg.
So what do you guys think?

Fun thread to read through. For sure, a performance mode would be a nice edition to an already great product as well as undo, redo, etc., etc., ad nauseum. I would much rather wait for a feature to done "right" than to see a whole bunch of half assed user requests to rammed in as quickly as possible.
However, at least in my experience, the best feature additions to a product are rarely the ones that users asked for. I don't think I need to remind anyone here, but NAMM is coming up soon an I for one can't wait to see what the team has up its sleeve for the next major release of the firmware.
Can't wait.
Cheers

+1 on the Till cabs, they really do sound amazing! And just about anything from TAL. Not stock but many are for free...

That's pretty funny cause I happen to have 7.

Thanks, nice to be here.
Guitartone, I'll give theses a run today and compare them to what I profiled. I might have a few questions if you don't mind.

Hey guys,
Picked up the unit about two weeks ago now. I've been used to playing other units most notably Boss's GT8, GT100 and and some Vox stuff. I have a home studio too and have played around with some of the other amp packages out there and was never able to find the "sound" if you know what I mean (well besides micing my TSL60 that I have ). Well, after noodling with this thing pretty much very waking moment since i got it, all I can say is holy s..t!
It's really not even a fair comparison.
Anyway, I've been trolling your boards for a while now, mainly to try and make up my mind if I wanted to take the plunge. Very useful info IMO. I write 1's and 0's for a living (simulation stuff too) and was very excited to hear that some finally had a good solution to the problem of amp modeling (or profiling as CK calls it). Really didn't believe it either until I got it home and gave it a test drive. Unbelievable. Kudos to the Kemper team! Sounds like more good things to come too, can't wait...
So hello to everyone and please keep the good info coming!
