The cables don't seem to be the trouble, and it's happened on 2 guitars so far.
The sound comes roaring back on as soon as I select a profile that works, it's not happening when I move the cable etc. Besides they are high end cables that don't have problems when going directly into an amp.
I guess it's going to be tech support.Have you checked your cables? Nobody ever had this issue with the KPA.... Try with another cable and possibly another guitar, if it still happens then contact support.

I've been having issues with my sound completely cutting out.
I've had to scroll through many profiles before the sound comes back on, and I've been playing fine and then the sound shuts off.
I'm on the first version of the public beta. Could this be related?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Here's an update on the issues.
Last night I used Pro Tools LE to play and record my KPA. I noticed the clipping lights turning red on my MBox, so I turned down the Master Volume on the KPA. It worked!
I was able to record myself on ProTools with a multi-track recording using multiple rigs, and I was very pleased.
There's a lot more that I don't know than what I do know, but at least, I'm on my way. Thanks to everyone who helped me.

I mean the sampling rate of the interface. Must be set at 44.1 kHz
OK, Thanks. I'll try to find that and see what it's set at.

I have two cables with both XLR and 1/4 " jacks running from the KPA to the back of the MBox.
And check that is at 44.1
I'm sorry but due to my lack of knowledge with Pro Tools, you lost me.

I was not able to use my KPA through my computer for the first week that I had my KPA
Fortunately I purchased it through Sweetwater and they have free tech help.
The tech did a remote session with my iMac and was able to get me running through Pro Tools if create a track and hit the record enable button.
When I do that I hear the KPA through the Monitors.
However, there is a problem with the sound being crackly and distorted as if I am playing through cracked speakers.
I compared that sound with running the KPA directly into the JBL Monitors, which has pristine tone.
I am a novice with Pro Tools but I checked all the volume slides to try to limit any clipping, etc. But, to no avail.I will call Sweetwater again if needed, but if anyone has some experience with this issue, I would certainly appreciate your assistance.
Thank you,
Yossi

Ok, I ran the KPA directly into a Fishman Loudbox Mini and that works.
That narrows the problem down to my MBox.
Any help with that will be appreciated!
Thanks,

I am plugged into the input direct from my guitar,
I have 2 cables going from the left and right output on the back of the KPA
The cables are plugged into the Left and right Mic line inputs on the back of my MBox,
And that is connected to JBL Powered Monitor speakers.
My KPA is plugged in and the lights are on.I am not getting any sound.
What am I missing?

Thank you! I got my old identity back.

My KPA just arrived today, so that means I am entitled to access to the private forum.
When I registered I indicated that I was not an owner but now I am.
Where do I make the change?
Thank you,

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
I was expecting the KPA today and to my disappointment it was not on any of the FedEx trucks.
Hopefully, tomorrow.I have no idea how to use it yet, let alone share profiles. But, I'm sure that the manual will explain all that.
If not, I'll look to the KAUF for help.I'm glad that there is interest in my amps.
Truthfully, I'm a bit skeptical how a KPA can replicate the experience of playing through some of these amps. But, I've read a lot from people who raved enough to convinced me to give it a try.
I'll find out soon enough. All the best,
Yossi

I will be looking forward to sharing some amps with the community.
I have a Sommatone OD35, RedPlate Magic Dust Duo, RedPlate BlackLoop, Bluetron Blueverb and a 5E3 clone.
I can't wait to try so many of the other amps that are available. The last modeler I purchased was a Johnson J Station. I think I am in for a pleasant surprise.
Best Regards,
Yossi
