Yes, exactly. The other way around as well
OK, that's great! - thanks for the info. And thanks to everyone that took time to participate regarding my question.

In this case you would push the gain, not the volume. In order to do that you need to go to the Rig menu and set the volume pedal Post Fx
OK, so bottom line what you're telling me is that it is possible to increase distortion without increasing the overall sound volume to a live audience?

You can control distortion by a volume pedal or the Pedal Booster that is positioned in front of the distortion.
Thanks, that sounds very clever. To clarify: Does increasing a volume pedal in this configuration result in the Kemper Main Out signal becoming Louder (increased Gain? - in a live venue would the guitar sound from the Kemper become overall louder in volume?) or does increasing the volume pedal in front of distortion only result in increasing the relative level of distortion without increasing loudness volume? -
I own an Eleven Rack and I'm considering buying a Kemper.
My question:
Using an expression pedal can the Kemper change an effect parameter (such as distortion) within a rig?
The Eleven Rack for example allows an expression pedal to sweep through a change of up to four parameters within a rig. This is very useful for a few songs where I need the ability to smoothly transition live from distortion to clean to back to distortion.
Or, perhaps there's a method that allows a transitional "dissolve" from rig to rig?
