you're welcome!
benvigil it's definitely surreal
great playing on both those videos!
someday a complete description of the profiling process would be very cool..
(If you haven't done that already,,)
For better or worse, the simple description I posted here is really all I did. Since it was about 7 years ago and I no longer own any amps (only the Kemper), I can't really reproduce it. Very simple setup, really. I used a Sennheiser e906 on the middle switch position, close mic'd.
BTW,, RM,, I was so impressed I went out and bought a Morgan amp,,so what a great example of the Kemper making a sale for an amp company,,,
I like the profile better,,, Ha,,,,,,
Nice gear!
rmpacheco , it's fantastic that you're still here, mate.
You must be so proud of this now-iconic Profile!
I'm so glad you guys have enjoyed it! Over the years, I've continued to tweak and adjust my EQ and compression settings to suit different kinds of guitars but the base profile still remains my favorite.
You're very welcome! I'm happy to say this profile is still my go to after all these years. I've tweaked it along the way as I'm sure many of you have, but at its core it's the same. Here's to 6 more years!
@Scott Baker - sorry I couldn't reply to your wall post. there is an issue with my account where it doesn't recognize that I have registered my Kemper, so it won't let me post in private forums, etc. I've reached out to support, but in the meantime, in answer to your question, you can download my rig via the Rig Exchange. Just search for rmpacheco as the author.
You should post your PayPal. I’d toss you some cash as a thank you.
That's a really kind offer, but I certainly don't expect anything in return for it. I'm just glad you like it.
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I must add to the chorus...
I'm not sure if you realize your Morgan AC20 profile is one of the most recommended and certainly one of the most popular profiles ever created. I switched back to the KPA from the Axe recently and your profile is at least 1/2 of the reason.10,000
These comments make my day! I'm so glad you all enjoy the profile so much. It has always amazed me that it turned out so well because I did it in a rush in my apartment while my neighbor was out because she always complained about how loud I played. I just hoped to get something passable and it turned out to be my favorite.
While you're on here, @rmpacheco, many thanks for that Morgan AC20 rig. It remains my favorite, even including those I've purchased.
By all means! I'm glad people have enjoyed it as much as I have
Does the KPA have the ability to have multiple morph settings (multiple expression pedals configured) and can one of them be set up via an external switch/latch instead of an expression pedal?
i used to do this with a midi foot controller. I stopped because my kpa would crash sometimes for no apparent reason and always seemed to be when i was sending midi messages. I bought the remote because it was from Kemper so i figured it would not have the crashing issues but i don't want to have to buy Strymon pedals (for example) just to do what a simple CC midi message would do.
I use the morph feature for delay mix and other settings already. I want to do the reverb time change separate from the morphed values. I need to do so via a switch. I just need to know if this is possible or not via Remote.
I want to be able to change the reverb time a given patch via the Remote using a switch. I used to do this with a midi footcontroller using a CC Midi message. I understand using different patches could accomplish this in a way but for multiple reasons I want to be able to accomplish this in a single patch. Can the Remote send CC midi messages or is there some other way I can achieve this via the Remote?
Thanks
