In Performance mode it would be great to have the option to lock a rig/fx.... only for same Performance slots.
Background:
I got about 30 Performances, for each Song 1 Performance. The Rigs are the same in each performance (Slot 1 always the same clean sound, slot 2 crunch....).
But they got different Tempo and FX.
If I want to try another Lead Sound (Slot 4) in rehearsal, I got to change and save this sound in every performance.
It would be great to lock the rig for this slot in each performance. -
Ja, Kopfhörer ist immer das Master-Stereo Signal.
Mehr Auswahlmöglichkeiten wären sinnvoll und wurden auch schon gewünscht. -
+1 great idea

I hope Kemper gives us an Editor as Christmas present...
-
I also know this Problem. Have/had it with several KPAs
-
You're welcome. Congrats for buying a Kemper.

Are you in stomp edit mode yet? Keep button 1&2 pressed when powering on. Then release 1&2. Now you proceed as u described.

Good luck Andy!

It's a safety feature. There's a relay that only resets itself after a certain amount of time once a spike overloads the system (a fancy fuse, if you will). As hjscheffler says, uncoupling it completely from the power source will cause it to reset quicker.
I tried uncoupling and swithiching on. Didn't seemed to be faster. Maybe it wasn't unplugged long enough.
Question remains: why do some KPAs come back imediately and others not? Don't they have this safety feature?

I just arrived at home from playing a tour in Ecuador (info: http://www.facebook.com/stereodramamusic).
First thing: next time we'll definitely use a UPS!!
We played 8 shows, on 2 shows we had problems with Power Blackouts.
Both Open Air Festivals, on the first one 2 Blackouts at soundcheck and 1 at the beginning of the show, at the second show 1 Blackout in the middle of the set.As our live (Kempered)Rack is way to heavy for the plane we took 2 Toasters with us.
One of them (Powered Toaster) had no big problems with the Blackouts. As soon as the power came back the KPA bootet again. The other one (White Toaster) always needed about 5 minutes to come back to live after the power came back. Within this time I thought it would be broken (Fuse?), cause it did nothing at all. No blinkings, no message on the screen.
You might imagine how happy I was when it suddenly came back to life!Has somone else experiences with blackouts?
Someone knows why only KPA has those problems?
I guess main problem isn't the blackout itself but the voltage peak? I'll check this by simply unplugging power connector. -

Our Live/Rehearsal Rig (https://www.facebook.com/stereodramamusic).
In the backside of the rack there are Power Conditioner, 2x8ch XLR
Splitter, and Submulticores for connection with the stagebox. No more
wedges or loudspeakers on Stage. Quick changeovers, perfect to handle
for FOH, StereoInEarmixes (3x Wireless, 1x wired) via Splitters and
Rackmixer (independent from FOH and controled by ourselves). And of
course: with all the benefits Kemper gives you
As we split everything we got also the possibility to always record a
stereomix on pendrive or connect a notebook and record all channels
separately -
Interesting. Looks more like a rehearsal space than a studio though (no sign of a treated room). And Roland V-drums, eh?
Why not?
Keys & Kempers & EDrum.
No mics, no need for a treated room. There are many known Bands that use "only" edrums or programmed drums for studio.
Even if he wants to record with acoustic drums afterwards, this does not mean that the other instruments will be recorded again.
Would be unusual to record Drums after other instruments but who know. -
It is a (bad) photoshoped picture. Look closer and you'll see many mistakes. So it can't be a prototype.
I guess it is a "wish" from a user. Maybe from the time the rack version wasn't available yet (was the black head uncovered bevore or together with the rack? I don't remember that...)
I don't think we'll see new hardware from kemper within the next 5 years or more. Of course there would be some things in hardware that could be improved, but for me, continious improving firmware comes first.

id like to see that too! -
Bug confirmed. Will be fixed in future.
Heres a vid that shows what I'm talking about:

..but every live engineer prefers to mic up my cab because it Sounds better than the Main out with the existing cab profiles...
Can't help you regarding profiling cab only.
What do YOU think about the MainOut sound vs Mic sound?
Maybe you realy use rigs that have a cab that doesn't sound "good". But might the problem be that these sound engineers just don't know or don't trust the kemper? There are a lot of people that think digital devicas can not sound good. And they think they get a better signal if they put a mic to the speaker as they are used to.
If so, a new cab profile wont help you. -
Im in performace mode. I push and hold "stomps" and then "lock". On kpa display I see a padlock on stomp a b c and d. But on remotethe padlockis only at stomp 2. Same with effects. Then i choose another rig for this slot. Configuration which remoteswitch controls which stomp is lost for those that weren't locked on remotedisplay

thanks for the responses
No Panorama users??I use Panorama in one slot of one performance.
I play stereo all the time.
In one song theres a break and i (alone) play a riff hard panned to one side..... after that band comes in and i go back to both channels -
I've attached some pictures.
Is this normal? The lights look really scruffy considering the price of the unit!
I had the same thing on several kempers I own(ed). So this seems to be normal. That doesn't bother me.
