    Hello and welcome, kturumtay!

This is very easy in the Kemper. To duplicate the setup in your Fractal picture there you simply use the "DLY+REV Routing” parameter found under Rig parameters (Rig button). When it is set to "0%" you have a normal serial routing, but when set to "-100%" you get a fully parallel routing like the one in your picture. Have fun!

    I would like to be able to route where a Parallell path ends up. One reason could be so that you can use a reverb for both your parallell path end the main path. My main reason for this wish, and the reason the parallell path causes me a headache right now, is a different one however;

I sometimes use the Parallell path to add an Acoustic simulator in parallell with distorted rig, and that usually works ok. Now we have started using a W/D/W setup to be able to control the reverb and delay depending on the venue. The dry part is taken at the main out as "Mod stereo" and the wet part is taken as "DLY/REV Wet". The parallell path, however, only appears at output source "Master xxx". Thus, when using a W/D/W setup the parallell path is defeated.

I propose having the possibility to route the parallell path end to either effect slots "DELAY", "REVERB" or maybe directly to an output source such as "DLY/REV Wet" or "MOD Stereo" if that is easier.

...And by the way, the Acoustic simulator could use an input trim as it easily runs in to ugly digital distortion.

Hello, SkyBlynde, and welcome to Kemper society!

No, it is not a defective unit. Switching between rigs in Browse mode does have an annoying lag so you should instead be using Perform mode, which I guess is the intended mode for live use. Then you will be down to around 50 ms switching time instead of almost 200 ms when in Browse mode. 50 ms is manageable and better than many comparable products. Other systems have to wrestle with Scenes or Snapshots which is somewhat different but not easier in my opinion. Good luck and happy tweaking!

It would be so convenient to be able to edit preset/rigs/performances offline and then just download to your profiler later on.

On a regular work day on the road I have maybe 15 spare minutes that I can work in Rig Manager connected to a profiler. On the other hand I often have many hours in busses, airports and planes. I would love to have the opportunity to work in RM there and load to profiler when I am by the rack and can connect again. Please, please...

    Hi Torbiz,

I see there is a treble booster involved. I'm not familiar with the HBE in particular but treble boosters tend to be picky with what you but between them and your guitar pickup, I know mine certainly are. Put the Kemper aside for a minute and try putting a buffer, och something with a buffer circuit in it (like Boss pedal or a Peterson tuner or something like that), between your guitar and treble booster and see what that sounds like. My guess is it will sound similar to what you describe in your problem description. If so you either give up or go down the rabbit hole of "unbuffers":)

I would love to be able to assign, for instance, REV and DLY to FX1 and FX2 buttons on the Player globally. Unless I am missing something I now have to edit every rig to do this. And if I edit my performances on my toaster and then import the to my Player I would have to assign those buttons on every rig again. A possibility for global assignment of the FX buttons/dials would be great.

    Thank you!

    /Klas

Really excited by this. We'll be getting some fabulous new effects soon. Thanks again, Kemper team!

    1. Faster boot time. Today we have to keep them on ups since booting up a spare takes half a song.

    2. Shorter switching lag/faster response (as an example the 20+ y.o. H&K ZenTera has a much less apparent switching lag)

    3. Ins and outs to separately profile drive pedal, preamp, power amp, and speaker+mic all in on profiling go, each part taking into account their respective impedance and response dynamics. In/out for power amp and speaker should be combo tele/speakon do easier do bass amps.

    4. Concerning the last point would also be a good built in mic pre, with phantom power.

    5. Two Dante ports (or whatever digital format rules the market when the Kemper 2 comes out). That would make it possible to stay in the digital domain longer and reduce latency, say going from a Shure ULX-D to Kemper to digital stage box back to IEM.

    6. Software wise I´d like to see pre- and post eq (studio style) included in the amp section and console style eq/comp in the cab block. And I´d like to have back the possibility to bypass the rig EQ, to easier compare changes.

    7. A foot controller with scribble LCD´s over each button would be nice. But I hope a Kemper 2 would keep the compatibility with the remote and original profiler rigs.

Regarding #3 above; some people never do their own profiles, some do their profiles in the studio, while I as a backline tech do mine on the road on stages. It would make sense to offer the profiling I/O's as a separate module, maybe to go in the "luggage compartment" like the Camplifier or, even better, as a full width/depth unit to attach underneath the profiler (that would effectively reduce size if you don't travel with it on). Connection between profiler an I/O unit should then be class compliant USB C so you could use it as a stand alone unit to keep in your studio if you want, to use directly from you computer.

And while we are at it, with add on modules:

    8. Choice of add on power amp in mono, stereo or wet/dry/wet configurations respectively. Module attachable underneath as mentioned above (full width/depth.

I would really like to finally have full transparency on the profiling process. I'd like to be told "This is how the process works and therefore you need to do/play exactly this during the refine stage to get the best result" for example. Now we are somewhat kept in the dark as to how it works and what affects the result and we end up blaming the product for our poor profiling results.

I´d really like Kemper to stay the proffessional choice when everybody else is doing smaller and smaller gadgets lacking necessities like effects, digital options and general connectivity.
