Glad you found what works for you man. It's true though, studio profiles from many users have always worked with an amp and cab, well before mbritt profiles and long before fw 3.
I think the good news here is that you found a combo that nails what you were after in a guitar sound and that's a great thing

My guess is that it was a precursor to a full AxeFx plugin maybe? Plus if it's a universal bypass for ilok then anything can be cracked. It's a premium plugin so it's at risk and if it can't be protected then there is no point developing it.
It's all a guess anyway so who knows

Picked up all packs apart from the voice 15 and the bass pack. They sound really great!! Can't wait to try them out with the band. Stand-outs for me are the Orange, XTC and the JSX but the rest are all up there as well
As others have said a Vox would be a great addition if you have access to one

I know that there were reservations about doing software plugins due to potential piracy issues, maybe the recent ilok bypass put him off? It's understandable to be fair.

Thanks for the fantastic review tylerhb, I read it a while back and it inspired me to pick up both the DXR10 and DXR12. The combo of the two is just fantastic however I seem to be running them slightly different to many here. I play lead guitar in a 2 guitar heavy rock covers band and I was having some problems with excessive bass and the tones getting lost in the mix.I settled on the following settings at rehearsal last week and was really happy with the results
Monitor mode engaged
HPF Off
Output EQ on KPA Bass -3, Mids +1, Treble and Presence at 0.I was playing mostly MBritt profiles which always seems to have a load of bass with my Les Paul and it a 2 guitar band these settings really opened things up and everything sounded amazing! Many other profiles do not require such EQing and just require tweaking to taste but the MBritt profiles have a great feel and midrange that makes them a dream to play.
Anyway, since rehearsal I've been testing the speakers to try and work out what is missing in the mid-range and I found a video of the CLR vs the DXR12 which were miced in the room. I did a quick EQ match of the clips from the two speakers (I know not in any way scientific or accurate) and there was a clear drop in the DXR12's midrange at around 2-3k. I added a PEQ block after the cab and set the midpoint to 2.5k, boosted by 4db with a Q of 1.45. Although I noticed a difference, it wasn't until I played with it on for a while and then turned it off that I realised what I was missing, I turned it back on it is sounded great again! I've also now removed the global EQ settings and everything's running flat again. I've not had chance to try with the band but I'm really looking forward to doing so! If you own these speakers then it's worth giving this quick tweak a go.

Says 14 days wait in the store, said 147 when I picked mine up, it came much quicker than that luckily

Or how about spamming in other people's posts? Just the other day some "commercial profiler" decided to spam my thread with his new Marshall pack when I was inquiring about something completely different. He's also guilty of doing exactly what this thread is about. Pretty sure he's probably what sparked this thread in the first place. Hell the dude even spammed a FB post haha. it's getting out of hand...
I saw that, thought it was out if order, the guy has done the same on a few threads now if anything it makes me less likely to buy his packs.

Great to see you here AlbertA Not much of a learning curve on the Kemper to be honest as I'm sure you have found.

Hey all...I haven't seen these here unless I missed something. These guys have some really killer commercial profiles. Great for rock!! Some great video clips but well worth the cash for straight up rock tones!
Saw these last night, clips do sound very good. Which packs did you pick up?

32 packs now available! Check them all!Just picked up one if the essentials packs and am really digging it. It would be cool if there was a way to upgrade from essentials to the full pack fur an amp. That way you can try for a low price and upgrade on those you really like. Just makes it more inviting for people.

So I have been internally debating whether to get Pack 1 or 2 or 3 or the Modern Pack - already own Vintage and Dumble - and now I have to wait and see what the new ones are...
Man, life is hard!!!!!
Certainly hard times, anyone know how far out the new packs are?

I find that a great studio profile sounds great with the cab bypassed and run out to a speaker. Generally I find them more pleasing that DI or merged profiles but that's a personal preference. I've tried a fair few DI profiles and they seem to be missing some highs and lows when running back through the powerhead.
