logic X....I'm going crazy...it's not working. Maybe resetting the Kemper to factory settings will solve the problem.
I was going to suggest exactly what Robrecht said.
Your subsequent post confirming that everything works until the USB is connected suggests that the Kemper is trying to take control as the sound card. The next step is to check the project settings in your DAW (is it Logic?) to see if this has changed to Kemper instead of Apogee. If it has manually change it back. It should ask if you want to change to Kemper when you connect the USB. I wonder if you might have accidentally said yes the first time you connected and ticked the do not ask me again box so it remembers it and always connects automatically.

When I connect the Kemper via USB, it asks if I want to use it as a sound card. I'm still using my Apogee Duet, so I'm not accepting that option... Even if I use the Kemper as a sound card, I still can't get any sound.![]()

Writing a tone via Kemper or editing a preset amp tone is much more complicated... I still can't use Rig Manager, it cuts off the sound when I connect the USB... what a frustrating thing.![]()

Yes, the problem is this: I get sound when Kemper starts, but the sound cuts off when I connect the USB. To get sound again, I have to unplug the USB and restart Kemper... I can't use Rig Manager!!!! Thanks everyone.
The problem occurs when I connect the USB; the sound cuts off. I'm getting sound from the DAW now. I changed the USB cable, so the problem isn't with the cable...it's with the USB connection!!!! How can we fix this? There's no problem with the sound card; it's working perfectly fine.
ok..thank you very much
I'm connecting the Kemper USB to the PC to use Rig Manager... I wasn't having any problems before.
I used to get sound from the Kemper output by plugging into the Apogee input and using Logic X, but after the update I can't get any sound... If you read the messages above, you can see the details.
A user named steelWreath wrote the following...
I figured I try to update again. This is the sequence of events.
Attempted to Install Latest Software
OS 14.1.2.66277
RM 4.2.12 Windows 10 64
It's the same for me too.
no It turns on, there's no problem with the device, it's working.
I couldn't figure out how to do that either.
Unless we change this visible version, this won't be fixed.
It didn't work. I have the same option selected for the first photo, and I also selected the second option for the second photo, but it's still not working.
thank you
I won't bother again until the new update comes out; maybe the problem will be solved in the new update.
I've already done all that. The problem still persists. I still can't solve it; I'm still not getting any sound from the DAW. When Kemper opens, the signal to the channel cuts off. Something is conflicting... I completely uninstalled and deleted the rig again, and my tones are gone. I can't figure it out...
Thank you very much... I'll try Mac Cleaner... I hope I find the problem.
