Thanks for this info i'm going to have a closer look on this matter....
I went through this a few weeks ago and found out that i had to replace my labtop powersupply because it had a ground, i replaced it for a quality powersupply without grounding and it seemed back then that i had solved the distorted sound with each clicking manoeuvre in windows. After replacing the powersupply every background noise seemed to get solved and dissapeared.
Now i connect a USB cable with kemper player and have another noise issue. Are there shielded USB cables available as somebody might know off?
For sure i have connected player and labtop powersupply to the same wallpower outlet.
Should it help to disconnect the ground wire inside the USB cable? Does anybody know off?
