You don’t need an attenuator. Just DONT connect you powered QSC to the SPEAKER out (red ring)of the Profiler. Use monitor and direct out and just turn the volume down. The Kemper and QSC amps are clean linear amps not like valve power amps which sound different when turned down. Stop over complicating simple stuff.

Agreed to your last.statement. The powered kemper with the red ring is a powered 600w mono output. It is used for driving kemper unpowered FRFR cabinets and traditional guitar speaker cabs, often used with DI profiles, but not always. Me personally i strongly dislike the sound of FRFR no matter what the brand is, to me they are sterile and lifeless. I run mine with 12 inch guitar speaker cabinet, hopefully soon i will get the mod done that will allow me to run stereo, by British audio. If you have powered cabs/ pa monitors; use the directive above listed in pictures.

There seems to be some talk about a Kemper 2 coming out. If so, #1 I would like to see Kemper implement a user customizable tuner presets/offsets for the Kemper, like what the Peterson strobe tuners can do, and to be able to back those up as well. My instrument uses offsets to maintain in tune triads,AKA Pedal steel guitar.

2nd, an option for a stereo power amp outputs. 300 rms per side. For those people like myself that run 2 - 12 inch guitar cabinets,(not FRFR) i strictly use DI or merged profiles as a 2nd option.

3rd an option to DI profiles without having to buy another piece of gear to accomplish this.

to date this feature that kemper offers, which is the only profiler that offers a power amp option which has kept me from selling out to buy the quad cortex or the tone master, however they do not offer this option and I don’t feel after paying $1600-1800 for a modeler that’s just a preamp section and having to spend another $700 on a compact power amp, i.e. the power stage 700 is not viable financially when Kemper already offers this option on their power head and rack units, which covers all the bases all in one compact unit, and it’s one less thing to have to carry around and when you’re a working musician constantly hauling gear.

    my .02 cents.

So does the rig volume has any effect on the output level that is going to the PA system? For example I have a -18 on the master out level and it seem to work fine there, but If I turn up my rig volume to 12 will it cause the mixer channel to clip?.. The problem that I'm having it I run with a volume pedal and I seem to run out of sustain and I'm and I'm forced to keep re striking the strings at full volume pedal open and it doesn't sound nor feel physically comfortable playing that way.

I play pedal steel BTW in case any here has any experience with this instrument.

I would like to see someone build a wood foldable stand for the kemper toaster head for pedal steel guitar players. Since we sit down The problem we face with small stages there always isnt enough room to put a full size amp stand on stage that will tilt it back enough to have access to the controls while being able to see the screen clearly. Something tall enough to clear the rear power and guitar cables from hitting the floor while it is tilted back.
