I don't know for the big brothers, but maybe a controller for the player. A small 5 footswitch to control the rig selection and looper. While fx I-IIII can be controlled with the four combo buttons. Touch screen also will be present to access high and low cut and out Eq during live events.

Total size off course is still smaller than the stage. Complete cost will be maybe higher, but I would definitely buy it because more compact as solution.

The only thing the Player would miss at that point is the presence knob 😝

Hi Kris, check which driver do you have selected. In rig manager click on "PROFILER", "Audio Mode". "USB Audio (Class Compliant)" shall be selected if you want to play a song thru the USB.

Just thinking laud, you could try to make a "tool" and push it out from Monitor out R 🤔

With the boss wl-50 I see occasional dropouts if Player wi-fi is active. On the other hands I also have it far close to it.

Unfortunately I am not using reaper, but I learned today how to reamp with Cubase. I am not sure the same apply to your program, but I sent the Di track from DAW to kemper channel 3 (set on reamp in output settings). And after I set another track to record kemper channel 2 (output setting 1+2 as DI/Master Mono). In my case the driver have to be selected as Native ASIO into the rig manager.

I just installed now the last release 3.9.14, and I noticed we can finally fill the attributes for the presets of cab and amp after have been saved in rig manager! Thanks a lot Kemper, this is super helpful!

what is your opinion about have an "output setting mode" (e.g. where all the led/button became red) accessible by pressing toghether bluetooth+KONE button (or BANK + TUNER, or something else). In this mode Fx1 and FX2 knob would control the low and high cut filters, and, if you want, the bass, middle & treble would control the eq. of the output.

I know there is the possibility to manage this with the ipad/phone, but during the soundcheck I am almost always under time pressure and I would see an advantage to have direct access to those settings. I feel this would be really appreciated from who is regularly doing rehearsal and live in different locations.

Furthermore, I think this would be in line with the name of the product itself. I never understood why is called the player if I have no access on the fly to the parameters i would need while I am playing

I realize the cab I am using have a huge impact on this. Other than the point of different perception due too the different sound and frequency, I found that some cabs increase my rig volume quite a lot, even if they cut less through the mix. I solved it using IR from only one producer, and where possible using the same one for every rig. In this wat all the Rigs are a lot more consistent to each other.

We actually already discussed also similar solutions like to give a second function to the buttons and so on, but it seems that was not really welcomed

But at this point why have only the tuner option? Like would be nice ti have long press = bank up/down. However, I don't think that Kemper will ever do something like this unfortunately.

I am completely with you 😊 an official list would allow to have liquid profiles of other amp models. On the other hand is not so easy to do

I can't understand why if I have to be honest. With Rack or Stage one have access to all 8 slots and to all the effects. So the rig can be imported without needs to be "resized".

On one side I don't care too much.. I had morphing before, I will have it in the future.. On the other side this let me think. I bought a product that is continuously changing, in better or in worst, depending on your expectation for the next release.. After one year with the Player in the Kemper world I would say that is the most satisfying as well as the most unstable product I ever had.

I think the player fit users mad for compact solutions (I am one of those) and maybe who want to integrate it with other pedals.. But if weight and space are not a concern with the Stage you get no compromise

I am actually "bombarding" it with a request every second or half a second. I should check the code for the exact value, but it never gave me problem of stability. However you are right, even if I am always using it only to switch between two-stases, morph is a continuous function. In that case it makes no sense to receive a continuously changing value after half a second or more

For example with my arduino-based midi footswitch I am asking repetively the name of the rig, and printing infos on a LCD screen. If there would have been the possibility I would have asked the Morph state abd print it too, so that I had a solution for the rigs in position 2 & 4.

Does somebody know if there is the way to ask for the Morph status with a CC? On the MIDI documentation I can only find how to send and request specific parameters, but maybe I am overseeing something.

Roland does some pads that can be loaded with samples and wav files from DAW, abd can be activated also with feet while playing.

I have the Player lever III with access to all the effects. During these days I am going again through the main manual to increase my knowledge on all the parameters that can be tweeked, but there are some more specific/esotic that I will for sure forget again. I think it would be incredibly beneficial if when the "Enable Tooltips" is active in the Rig Manager Preferences, a description of the parameter (like the one in the manual) shows up when pointed but not clicked with the mouse.
