I sold my focusrite interface and currently I use kemper as an audio interface. I would like to listen to music from youtube on browser and work in DAW simultaneously.
When I turn on something on youtube and switch to DAW, the youtube stops.
Does anyone have a solution for this? And is it even possible?

could you describe me what should i change to make it stereo?
Currently i have input source set to SPDIF Input Reamp and SPDIF Output to DI/Master mono.
-
I need to somehow record di signal with master stereo to modify some stereo effects later in DAW.
At this point my spdif output is set to di/master mono
Is there some way to make it di/master stereo?
Maybe with use of other outputs.

Check out the KEMPER That Tone Show Rig Pack, which is available in Rig Manager as well as at the download page.
Yeah but those are full profiles, I thought more about presets standalone. Of course you can separate the effect section and put it into your presets. so yeah this will work too. Thanks!

There are a ton of presets baked into the Profiler.
Have you tried those? You talk about these for example?
You know what, I thought I have tested those but once again when I checked it, it seems like I have more of these than the last time i played. Strange, but yeah it partially answers my question. Thanks!

Hey everyone, There is a ton of profiles to download everywhere but I couldn't find any site that provides already made presets of reverb, delays and other?
Some time ago there was a bunch of reverb presets made by Thomas Dill to download but i couldnt find it now.
I know its a kemper thing to find your best settings but sometime you just wanna get some already made stuff and not tweak for hours. -
Hello everyone, so recently i wanted to reamp my kemper via SPDIF but I dont understand it well. I have watched many videos on how to do it but I still do not understand...
My gear is:
Kemper profiler
Focusrite 6i6 1gen
Reaper DAW
I think i have made the connection right but when it comes to setting everything in DAW, it gets me there...
Maybe someone know how to do it and would explain to the beginner in details?
Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone!
This question is for metalheads and everyone that knows something about good metal tone in recording.
So i wonder if my tone is already good or even maxed out for recording? Currently I am recording it via SPDIF so the quality shoud be at its best.
The thing is i dont know if my tone is good to record. I tried shaping it as best as i could but i am complete beginner at this so i just wanted to ask you.
Of course it is not shaped in DAW and effects are not included. Just pure recording from kemper.
The link is to the folder with this recording.

PS. the tone is shaped for black metal

Hello guys!
I was wondering if i can connect my unpowered kemper with xlr's to yamaha hs 7, kemper spdif out to spdif in in scarlett (for recording) and connect these monitors with jack's to scarlett outputs simultaneously?
Did anyone tried that? Will it work?
-
Just a simple question.
Will unpowered kemper head with powered kemper kabinet will sound the same as powered kemper with non powered kemper kabinet?
-
must be a misunderstanding. We repair units built in 2012 that exhibit the issue for free but we will not replace them.
i have spoken some time ago with the support and they told me that they replace entire front panel. Couple of days ago i decided to ship my unit for repair and they said they only replace the faulty LEDs.
Can you please check for me, what exactly will be repaired/replaced? Thank you.

Hey people!
I bought a unpowered toaster model with couple of burned out LEDs in the front panel of EQ knobs.
Since it is a common problem in early profilers, support said that it will be replaced for free (only paid the shipping to them, cause i dont have the warranty)
Question is: Are some of you shipped your profilers to them? What are your thoughts about that?

The seymour is a good choice.
There are 3 types of passive cabinet:
1) Guitar cab - will not have the flexibility of the Kabinet
2) FRFR - will have the flex but will sound less "real"
3) Kabinet - balance of the 2
So its only the Kabinet that will sound like the Kabinet, but all are viable and personal preference. If you go down the FRFR route, you could do what I origonally did.....find a friend store that stocks PA wedges and take you Kemper in for a play.
You could also go for an active cabinet ( Yamaha DXR10 for example). There are many others now like the headrush.
Lots of choice!!
When you say about "kabinet" you mean powered or passive model?
-
The simple answer is nope.
That is the nature of that set up. The cabs add a massive amount of colour so if that is the set up you want to run then that is the issue.
Is this your live set up? If so, if you mike the cab, then effectively you continue the same problem. If you go direct, it will sound drastically different FOH, they will hear the variation you want and ironically you won't.
This is not a Kemper issue, its a Cab and amp issue and would be the same for an digital solution.
You have articulated the reason I do not use a Guitar cab or valve power amp.
So what is the answer? The good news is you have loads of options.
1) Try to eq the hell out of it - for me this is a waste of time but might be satifactoy
2) Change you signal chain - keep the valve amp and use an FRFR/Kabinet. FRFR is very clincial and will show the variation but can lack feel. Some people love them some don't. Kabinet is definately closer to that balance
3) Just get a powered Kabinet and ditch the amp and cab ( even though you are against it).
4) Any variation on the above!
Any monitor will :
1) Significantly impact the sound
2) Cost money
Therefore I suggest you try to borrow stuff to try it out t find what suits you. I have the powered rack and passive Kabinet and I love it. I gig with it most weekends in hard rock bands and would stack it up against any valve combo. My playing on the other hand...
I also thought about using a power amp (something like seymour duncan power stage) with passive cabinet. I wonder if it would sound like kemper through powered kabinet?

I am new in the kemper family!
I tried to connect my unpowered head version to my Marshall jcm 900 with passive marshall cabinet.
Here is the connection:
Guitar to kemper input
Kemper monitor out to amp fx return
Amp to cabinet
My conclusion is that basically all the rigs sounded to similar to each other, like my marshall jcm...
My question is: Are there other connect options out there? The connection that will make the rigs sounds different?
ps. Buying an active cabinet is not gonna cut for me.
