I have adjusted the input and the outputs gains so that I have a bright green on both input and outputs no red or orange my profiles sound slightly fuzzy either at high or really low volumes. What is causing this?.. I have tried everything I know of. I’m running just a delay and plate reverb nothing else is assigned to a block.

I would be be able to sort my DI profiles from the studio and merged profiles in Rig manager and be to call it up using a like a folder directory type format.

Nope the steel guitar isn’t an oscillating instrument. Ever note is clean is supposed to be clean and clear.
-
According to your avatar pic and user name, I guess you play steelguitar ...
Could it be that the smallest ever movement of the steel ( pitch modulation )
causes the "chorusing" effect when reverb and / or delay is activated .....
Just a thought ...
Cheers !

Please confirm that you run the Kones from either the Monitor Outputs (only!) of your Profiler and an external power amp, or directly from a build in power amp.
The Kemper Kone Mode is only happening on the Monitor Output (or the build in power amp). On any other there is no support for the Kone/Kabinet. As a result, the Kones will sound muffled an suboptimal.
I assume that those who experience a subpar tone, do not connect it the right way.

I have checked those settings and everything is off I’m running guitar cabs not IEM’s.
-
do you have Space activated in the output settings?
-
how are you monitoring the signal?
I’m running a 12 inch quilter guitar cabs with a stereo power amp. If I turn the effects off completely it goes away. When I turn on the reverb I can hear the subtle chorusing effect.
-
that didn’t work either I’m still hearing it the oscillating/chorus effect. Hopefully in another update Kemper will address this. Doesn’t sound good for clean tones.
-
So there is no way to turn it off and have the effects behave like a normal reverb and delay?
-
Have any noticed a chorusing/oscillation when running Kemper effects? This Happens both in delay and reverbs. Is this normal?
-
If it weren’t for the TJ profiles I wouldn’t have known anything or become a new fan of these amps.

I really like the DI or merged profiles for use with my Quilter cab loaded with PF350 speaker and turn the cab sim off.
the Benson Chimmer is one of my favorites along with the two stones Krystal, and 65 deluxe -
Hi All,
A little humor in the title, but as guy who went from the Strymon Iridium to a Headrush, to a Kemper Rack, I’m drowning a bit as I try and wrap my head around this unit.
For example, I just wanted to build a rig when I opened it up and turned it on. Not easy or intuitive, I’m still not sure how, in fact. Once I installed rig manager though, I was able to find some good tones.
In any case, I’m on day 3 with it and I can’t wait to profile some amps and create some great music.
it looks intimidating but once you familiarize yourself with the work flow it is actually really easy and logical with a lot of flexibility

I get the response that I’m using a kemper. “Why are you using loaded speaker cabinets with a power amp you are defeating the purpose. My response is because an FRFR monitor does not sound natural. it sounds sterile, thin, one dimensional, and plastic. when I use my powered 1x12 quilter cabs with the cab sim off, it sounds like a real amp profile. I get nice clean sparkly tones, and warm lows and the thickness of a real amp and whatever tube sag gain I set. In my mind that is the way profile is supposed to sound. My deluxe reverb sounds like they are supposed to, but with FRFR that exact profile of sounds like a cheap ass lifeless amp. I guess people have different opinions how to use this. All I care about it what is coming out out that speaker. It has to sound clean and balanced and a cab does it for me.

I stand corrected.
yes the manual does state the 1/4 inch main output jacks are unbalanced. Thank you.
