Hi,
I am trying to find how to delete the IIII on the right (see red high lighted).
Every time I'd like add the Reverb, it will be assigned to the effect no. IIII, although I don't want that..
I only want no. IIII to use for Phaser or anything else and have the REV as an overall effect.
So, I need to delete the IIII completely. Unfortunately I cannot find it in the manual.Hope you can help me
And many thanks in advance!!

Hi,
On my KPA I have some great profiles of great Fender amps, but they're a bit too "Overdriven/Crunchy".
By turning back the KPA GAIN knob on my profiler, the profile cleans up and sounds quite nice. When you turn up the KPA GAIN, the sound will become more crunchy, but this is not the overdriven sound from the profiled amp.
Let's call this the "Kemper overdrive". You don't want that. Now the other way:
Lately someone told me that when you turn the KPA Gain counterclockwise, cleaning up the signal, this will be the same as cleaning up the profiled amp by turning down the volume. This sounded weird in my ears, but I cannot find any documentation about that cleaning up the signal with the KPA GAIN knob.
I look forward to your comments!Cheers!

That makes sense. Thanks!
There is one compressor stomp.
The difference between the two factory presets is down to different parameter settings.
Soft -
Intensity 3
Attack 2.5
Squash 0
Hard -
Intensity- 5
Attack - 1.4
Squash - +1.5

Hi,
On my clean profile for the Dr. Z Stang Ray I'd like to use a little more compressor as an effect for certain solo's.
I like the sound when its Intensity level is on 6.4.
It's for cleaner country music style solo's on a Tele.
The problem is that the extra amount of volume is too much from the sound without compressor.
The level/volume of the compressor can be turned down with 5db, but that's not enough.
What would I do when I need the amount of compression is 6.4. ??
Turning down the mix level isn't the right thing in my opinion.
BTW:
When choosing for the compressor, there's just 1 compressor, BUT it has 1 called "hard" and 1 called "soft".
The difference between these 2, I can't be found in the manual.
Hope you can help me out a little bit. -
I'd like to connect the 2 x 12" Dr.Z open back to my powered Kemper.
But the Kemper says 8 - 16 Ohms at its speaker out.
Do I have a problem ?
-
Thank you so much ...!

Yes it is still there in slot 1.
The weird thing is that I was able to clear slot 2, 3, 4 and 5 by clicking "slot enabled"."slot enabled" at slot 1 grey and I am not able to "unlock" it, by clicking the tick in the box.
-
Slot 2, 3, 4 and 5 were no problem to delete. These are empty now.
But slot 1 still remains showing the "old" rig.

Hi all,
I have some performances on my remote that I do not use anymore, so I'd like to overwrite them with new profiles.
But how should I do that?
When slots are empty, no problem, but now the old still remains there
Thanks for the help !

Hi,
In my search to find a good profile of a Dr. Z Stang Ray, I found this website of Selah Sounds.
But are these any good?
I will try a profile pack, but someone out here may have good or bad experience.
Hope to hear from you

Hi!
I see the following for factory settings in my powered toaster:
Power Amp section:
- Volume = -17.5Db
- Power Amp Boost = -10.7Db
Output Volumes section:
- Main Volume = -6.7Db
- Monitor Volume = -17.5Db (= the same as Volume in Power Amp section)
- Direct Volume = -34.5Db
= = = = = = = =. = = =
Referring to the Volume in Power Amp section I can't get enough volume to play with the band etc.
So I crank that one up a bit.
What are you guys doing with these factory settings to get perfect volumes on stage etc ?
-
What kind of pickup does it have in it?
K&K Pure Classic Pick up.
Adhesive mics inside body -
I downloaded a profile with the name acoustic, but it's not a good one.
Anyone know a good profile for acoustic guitar like an old D28 Martin etc?
-
Thanks! That makes sense.
And what about the Power Amp Boost, which has a range from 0 - 12DBStandard is -6 DB and also Volume here is - 18.3DB.
I guess this is the same story ? -
I just like to know about this.
I don't use a Kemper Kone/Kabinet.
But in the Output section menu page 8/9 "monitor volume" is - 18.3Db.
Why is that and when I turn it up and down, my speaker volume in- or decreases.I also do not use a FRFR cab btw., but just an open back 1x12".
Thanks so much !

Do you send a Direct line to FOH via the Main Outputs?
If so, have you Unlinked the Main Output from the Master Volume?
From the Manual:
Within the Output Section you can find individual volumes for different physical outputs.
When you press the correspondent "Link" soft button in "Output Volumes" or "Output AddOns", you can link, or unlink, the respective volume to the MASTER VOLUME knob. Any linked volumes will be controlled by the MASTER VOLUME knob, without having to enter the Output Section again. You can link more than one volume to Master Volume – all linked volumes will be adjusted relatively to each other. All output volumes can still be controlled individually by soft knobs in the Output Section. An obvious live application is to unlink the MAIN OUTPUT connected to the main mixing desk of the venue – this means you can now change the volume of your monitor signal, or headphones, while the all-important main signal remains unchanged.
Once you have done that - What is the Monitor Output level?
Thanks so much!
I have to check this as well.
Problem is that I am at home at the moment and over here it's more than loud enough
When doing rehearsal with band, I feel to have not enough headroom and very compressed sound.
I will let you know when I have checked this
Thanks again ! -
When i run my Powerrack into my Kabinet with power boost not even on full, I cannot get above 50 watts without physical pain. It will easily keep up with a Marshall 100w head..
So I struggle to believe that the built in amp is not sufficient for anyone, regardless of ohmage/wattage variables.
Therefore, there is something wrong here.
I assume you've checked your power boost setting and its on maximum.
I am afraid my speaker is 16 Ohm, which might be the reason.
But I can't find how much Ohm exactly
Power boost setting checked and as far as I can see it's Max.Thanks for your reply !
