Same issue here too, very frustrating!

The resonance parameter in the MK1 is an early prototype, and the implementation is quite different from what we have in the MK2. Unlike the MK2 version, it’s a "static" implementation that you can emulate fairly closely with an equalizer. I realize this thread is approaching 500 posts now, so it’s totally understandable if the original post got buried along the way.
Here's a link:

It is of course not a coincidence. We have done prototyping back then and these parameter numbers are simply next in line. You were able to test here, that the algorithm prototype behind that does not belong to the cabinet. And actually it does not match the cabinet profile.
Anyway, there is a good method to control and emphasize a cabinet resonance and it has always been there for everyone. Position a peak equalizer after the cabinet and tune it to somewhere between 75 and 120 Hz to catch…ckemperMarch 9, 2026 at 3:18 PM I give it another 5 posts until someone else who thought TLDR asks about it again!

It might just be me but I'd tend to trust the people who made the product a little bit more than regular users on an online forum.

I tried the Classic profiles, and even on the MK2 devices the Cab Reso/Intensity option isn’t available. That was the first thing I checked. Maybe it’s only available on the new 2.0 generated profiles and not classic ones.
It has been clearly explained that this is a Profiling 2.0 feature.

There are a couple of Profile 2.0 rigs from Thomas Dill in the Rig Exchange: https://www.kemper-amps.com/rig/exchange
-
This is exciting as a player owner.
Question, now I have updated the player and rig manager, how do I profile my amp with the player?
Was eager to play a 2.0 profile but I can't see any in the libraries, so would be good to give profiling a go for the first time now it is available to me.
Many thanks.
There are detailed instructions in the Addendum 14.0 manual: https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads

Should Rig Manager v4.0.53 include any new factory content using Profiling 2.0?
I haven't found any just yet.
-
What I am suggesting is a simplified/larger view for a single bank with 5 rigs.
The main functionality is somewhat similar to the Performance mode on the Stage and Head models but this can obviously be taken visually further since it will be running on the Rig Manager app on a tablet/mobile device.
Whether a single rig or multiple rigs are used per song is irrelevant to this, imho.

It's totally fine it's of not much use for some, not everyone works the same way.
It seems that I'd not be alone in finding this very useful, if something along those lines were to be implemented.
-
I appreciate people are excited about this but, my word, maybe we could all just chill for a bit?
Go out for a walk/run, spend more time with loved ones and less time checking if the update is out.

Yeah, SP have been using Kemper heads for a bunch of their records for years now.
-
Yeah, bank names would also be useful.
This is included in the mockup I made, see the "BANK 11 - SAS GIG" in the blue section.
-
Yeah, good shout! It would be great if it showed the chain for the selected slot.
-
I'm suggesting something a little easier to see/use at rehearsals and gigs.
For example:

-
It would be really useful to have a Gig or Set List view within the iOS/Android app with large names and perhaps an option to enter text notes.
Similar functionality that can be found in various synths and other processors, for example:

-
This would be really useful and I'm surprised it isn't already possible.
For me, it'd be great to be able to select master mono and DI as I do with the Stage's SPDIF ports.
-
Well, that's the beauty of the Kemper effects... adjust them to your personal taste and off you go!
-
I've got a Keeley Halo on my small board and made some presets with it while it was in the fx loop of Kemper Stage.
They include variations of the default Halo preset which I find useful, maybe you will too.

Yeah, I think it is a very old profile that I found in my backup folders.
I wanted to check out some of the other Vibroverb profiles I had.
-
I also came across an old post explaining that this can be solved by storing the profile on the Stage.
I have tried that but it the problem persists.
