    Hi everyone

    Looking for some help, does anyone have any tips for recreating the Avenged Sevenfold intro guitar tone from ‘Cosmic.’ I know its a clean channel with octaves / pitch shifting but Im struggling to get a clean tone similar to the one in the intro of the song

  • Recording Kemper with Impulse Responses

    Hi, may be a weird question but I'm just going to throw it out here!

    I'm recording with my Kemper rack plugged into a Focusrite clarett 8 pre interface which has a pair on monitors plugged into the output of the interface.

    I've started recording using VST impulse responses, turning off the cab on the Kemper and using the impulse response of the cabinet. But when I start to record, I get the usually hiss coming out of my monitors (that usually comes with turning the cab off) along with the sound of the amp through the impulse response.

    is there any way to stop the hiss coming through my monitors?

    any help will be appreciated!
