Well that's basically what I'm saying tho I'd generally describe "feel" as dynamics, responsiveness to picking strength - while I've yet to try Liquid Profiles, there's nothing to suggest there's any change here - Kemper has always had a pretty realistic feel in these terms. However a guitar sound will be more enjoyable/inspirational if it's a good tonal balance, you could also describe this as "feeling" better, even tho the dynamics/responsiveness hasn't changed - and I think that's what people are describing here. Always a problem with describing any aspect of music, inevitably have to use terms that are a bit amorphous!
Well how can you comment when you never tried? There is def a more realistic feel to the profiles now a immediacy that comes through the speakers, welll with DI profiles i use anyway. Kemper had that lower mid woof an the LP helps that i think. I just enjoying the bright cap control, it can really customise a amp. I profiled my old carvin valvemaster amp that i used to gig with eons ago an its very spatty an trebly but pulling back on the bright cap really makes it something else

So I'm getting a little confused. There seems to be a suggestion that LP's sound better?
My understanding is:
1) The profiling process hasn't changed so the base profile hasn't changed
2) LQ only changes when you make tone changes. In other words, take a profile, switch on LP's and it should all still sound the same - its only when you start turning dials that it behaves closer to the original amp behavior.
So what are people experiencing, better base tone or just the accurate behavior which in itself is more satisfying?
Everyone says including kemper there no change, but if you flip through the tonestacks i find there is. Its slight but when you turn a knob just a little its then you realize that the profile now feels better an clearer than the stock. But you cant hear it when you flip through?

Hundreds. Basically, they profiled all their amps, on different channels, settings, etc.
This is both for bass and guitars, mine included everything.
It's mostly amp profiles, not many effects.
I have to investigate more, but I believe some profiles were created to include fuzz/distortion pedals:
I recall some "Animato Markbass", "Muff Marshall" and so on
They sound great, no doubt about it
i hate muse, but i be interested to hear the diezels etc. you goin to share em or do demo?
-
I bought one of those Kempers! If interested, just message me
How may profiles did it come with?

I copy the original into the 1st performance slot and the 2nd slot for the tweaked or modified version. Hit save.
Yea but to have it more like you got 5 amps in your room your playing to more like 5 profiles your switching between on the go would be great. No different to when you turn your kemper off an back on your last play settings are there still. Dont know how many times I have got a great sound an I turn my unit off just knowing that when I turn it back on its where I left it. It should be a LP universal tab for that. Saved or not saved
-
Yes exactly. I think he's asking for an "auto-save" feature when switching to a different profile
Yes I prob said it more difficult that it should be but yes, to have knobs where you left them.
-
Especially now with LP an we may use it like a amp, is there a setting that enables you to go back to a profile with the last settings used? So more like a real amp were you have your dirt settings dialed in, switch to a clean amp, an so when you go back to your dirt is back were you left it instead of going back to your stored profile setting? That be even more amp like

Had another play today through my custom amp an a real speaker cab. The LP does what i felt has been missing in my sound im very happy. It ads a forwardness an a clarity that was missing from my profiles even though I do my own all direct no interference top cables. An the ability to scope the sound with the brightcap you can really tailor the sound. i have not played with all the tonestacks but keep going for the vox for clean an soldano for overdrive. Even the soldano for cleans is nice. Feel indeed. Its not 100 percent but its better than ever an more than good enough. I see kemper just released a video for the usb interface. Looking forward to the LP one. Looking forward to doin a matchles profile with the LP when i get the chance to get one an studio time
-
There a real definite enjoyable more amp like immediate attack an clarity goin on. Im doin everything I can to get a real sound an feel with a cab from the kemper an LP has me tickled pink. Especially on semi cleans. I keep going for the vox tonestacks and SOLDANO ones for some reason.
I mainly agree but...
Sometimes sounds are more forgiving...playing a fast run with a lot of gain is easier than playing it clean....of course the technique is the same but a more forgiving sound covers mistakes, making you "feel" like you can play faster. I suspect this is what is going on.
Alcohol has the same effect
I remember many years ago trying out a crate amp in a shop...loads of gain, and harmonics were flying out. At that moment I felt like Steve Vai was an amateur, I could dust Paul Gilbert and Yngwie...well I could send him back to Sweden with the fire coming from my fingers.
I got home, plugged into my home amp and boom I'm back to my cack handed noise....I was convinced that amp had some voodoo magic!
People say things like oh tones in the fingers an I dont agree. Im very sensitive to what I play, if i have a sound i dont connect with I can not play. I always feel embarrassed in guitar stores if they hand me a guitar I just dont agree with. I saw a interview with George Lynch saying the same that he can not play for the life of him if he does not have his gear.

Yes DI profiles. What DI did you use?

The hate leveled at people you have absolutely no clue about is amazing.
Taylor Swift has written or co-written *every* song in her catalog. She was getting paid for songwriting at 14 and has 12 Grammies.
H.E.R. has 5 Grammies AND an Academy Award for best original song. Which she wrote.
Industry puppet?
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt
I rest my case. Another casualty who thinks how many grammies someone has as a indication to how great a artist is. If you read what im saying, on the tail end of others saying the same, im geting at the music scene has lost something. You think in 2040 they going to look back an go oh man, that taylor, she was groundbreaking an made me play guitar. That H.E.R is groundbreaking. You prob think Sam smith is groundbreaking by the sounds of it.

Is she a talented guitarist?
Exactly my point above. So if she such a talented pianist then why is she going out an bein a try hard guitarist wearing all the shinny shit like a industry puppet? Money an fame. Look at this, this is someone who is not a natural guitarist an has had lessons an looks like she at her end of school year show. And shes famous an has a signature guitar? Cmon now.

Taylor swift? HER. can you get more slave industry more than that?
Taylor Swift will be the last music superstar that makes millions. This is so sad. I believe the industry knows that and they are banking every dime on her to make the money while they can. Hollywood is going the same route because of streaming. Today's movies are just awful. I don't like where we are going. I'm living with it but I don't like it. In a few more years, Ai will be creating all new content anyway. I know we are going off topic but this is something I am totally frustrated about.
Someone named HER has a Fender Signature Guitar and a insurance commercial. She picks 7 notes on TV. Never heard of her(HER). We are doomed.
Maybe I'll go make some mediocre content...
Taylors a industry whore like the rest. Behind these people is usually a very talented artist but it gets overshadowed by the machine. I watched her movie an was surprised how good she is with just a guitar an a voice. Same as kate perry etc. But they become a whole show for the coin an suck satans wad. We are at a point now were these stars are gods to be worshiped an its not about music. Song writing is a tool for manipulation an not for enlightenment. But is that new? Its come out Britpop was steamrolled by the cia. The cia was responsible for the 60s hippie movement an the beatles an the like. Go look into Laurel Canyon an all the artists that came out of there an the cia connection. Seattle an grunge would have its puppet masters too. I had a friend in the industry an I remember him saying before it came, that in a year or 2 this thing called emo was going to be the next big thing, first it will be a 80s revival an then will turn into this wierd goth mxed with school girl crush thing. An here we are recycling the past. Its all planed. Love em or hate them the Kings of leon were the last true old style band in my eyes. Music is a society weapon more than ever now an there will be more idols spewed out the machine thats for sure. The genres have all been exhausted an recycled but the masses will have their heart strings pulled by something new, an now we got AI music the perfect songwriting equations will be used. Look at fenders recent approach who they are signing i mean wtf. Who that black dude that looks like he should be selling crack on the corner an all the luscifarian symbolisim. We are doomed. The times dictate society an the bands an well..... look around. I love 80s songwriting an would to see that come back but whos going to step up to the plate an do that? People are cool when they are original an not trying hard or to imitate. Anything from here is just going to look like a tribute band or recycled. Look at greta van fleet, I cant even watch em its so try hard an sad. I think real bands are going to secretly use AI for songwriting an we going to see some cool band music in the next few years. You will not know but there will suddenly be all this great music comin out an they will act like they wrote it in the basement.

There a guy who made a real timber one that I can not find a photo of. It looked great an I asked him to make me one but he refused
-
Well for starters, this sounds like crap. This is a perfect example of the wierd trebly but compressed thing the kemper can do that some of us hear an some dont. Dont wana start a argument on it as we will go in circles like in the past. 2nd this guy cant profile for the life of him. Go back an find his matchless comparison vid where he profiles his matchless not direct, but through his OX BOX an through computer then ya wonder why the profile sounds crap compared to his real amp. It bugs me this stuff, it degrades the kemper.
