How long have you had your KPA? Which led died? Sweetwater will fix you up.. I've returned a generic fx pedal before as the switch was intermittent and it all went smoothly.. Just curious on how old your KPA is..

less than a year.
The only problem with sending it back to sweetwater is it will take 2-3 weeks and up to 6 to get it back i don't know if i can wait that long i use it as a studio tool -
I've had mine since August last year and have had my first three LEDS go within the last two weeks.
This must be some flaw as LED's shouldn't go at the frequency users here are finding. -
now the led came back to life i did a system reset then turned it on and off again and nothing but then just randomly changing profiles it came back on and ive gone through the other profiles and it hasn't gone out yet maybe just a strange glitch? and now its gone again from switching to tuner

i reinstalled the firmware and now the led is working again i guess we will see for how long

Very interesting. Perhaps it is a s/w error then, which would be fantastic (as opposed to some hardware problem). I'm surprised (or maybe I just haven't seen) a response from Kemper on these LED problems as it has happened to quite a few people. Again, encouraging if it might be a s/w problem.
Hopefully we'll get some confirmation soon. Good luck with keeping that LED lit!

Ive returned 2 Kempers in the last year due to this problem. Im on my 3rd now. I also bought from Sweetwater. Turn around was less than a week the first time. The second time they sent me a new Kemper and had me ship the broke one back AFTER I got the new one. Sweetwater is awesome. You wont have to wait weeks to get it fixed if it goes out again.

Sweetwater should considering how much they overcharge you for them. Literally all my past 5 requests for quotes on products was near the higher end of the spectrum. zZounds and GC were the cheapest every time (you gotta know and be loyal to a GC national sales rep I have found out)
But I'm glad you got a good response from them.
I have had bad experiences trying to return items, being told patently false information on product specs
I think I'm done buying from them.

To each his own. Ive had nothing but nightmares dealing with GC. Sweetwater has been nothing but topnotch for me.

Same here. I've had only good experiences with Sweetwater, and have a good relationship with my rep there.
