On my Mac, I had to check "Include Beta Test versions" in the settings to get 4.2.13 offered. Roughly an hour ago, it didn't show up as a regular update while I was on 4.2.12.

Rig Manager 4.2.13 public beta is only available via Rig Manager update so far. So new users need to download and install Rig Manager 4.2.12 release first.
If the "beta" flag is selected in Rig Manager Preferences it will suggest an update to 4.2.13 public beta first followed by an update of the PROFILER to OS 14.2.0 public beta.

How does the sidechain compressor work ? which sidechain is used ? Send-Return external loop ?
It works by supplying a signal through the alternative input (or if that is in use, the return input) which will trigger the sidechain ducking on your guitar sound...

How would you expect to supply sidechain input to the Player? It doesn't have the necessary jacks found in the other models.

That makes perfect sense. I was thinking the side chain was virtual from one Kemper location to a compressor block. A side chain via a hardware input would be a totally different to thing.
