Sending Program Changes from Kemper (control external gear)

    I cannot get my Profiler Rack to send "Program Changes" to a Boss VG 800.
    I have been successfully doing this with a Fractal Axe Fx 3 to the Boss VG 800.

    I simply want to change from one preset on the VG 800 to a different rig in Performance Mode
    ie...
    Kemper Performance
    Rig 1 (VG 800 Preset 3)
    Rig 2 (VG 800 Preset 1)
    Rig 3 (VG 800 Preset 12)
    Rig 4 (VG 800 Preset 4)
    Rig 5 (VG 800 Preset 7)

    I have the Midi cable going from the Kemper Midi Out to the Midi In of the Boss VG 800 (Same cable I use with the Axe Fx).

    In Performance Mode on the front panel I navigated to add the "Program Change" number to the corresponding VG 800 preset, but it will not change to that preset.

    I ended up using Grok AI to search the internet and this is what it came up with...

    This is only possible in Performance Mode. Each Slot can send up to two Program Changes (to Device A and Device B).
    1 Go into Performance Mode.
    2 Select the Slot you want to edit.
    3 Press Edit → Slot Settings → MIDI Settings.
    4 Activate Device A (and/or Device B) with the soft knobs.
    5 Dial in the desired Program Change number for each device.
    6 Press MIDI Transmit (or the equivalent soft button) so the Slot actually sends the message when recalled.
    7 Store the Performance.

    You configure the MIDI ports and channels for Device A/B in the System menu on the Perform Mode MIDI page (MIDI Out vs MIDI Thru, channel, rename devices, etc.).

    Am I missing something to make a simple "Program Change" from one rig to an assigned preset in the Boss VG 800 in Performance Mode?

    Does "Rig Manager" support adding midi to each rig (1-5) to make this easier, rather than navigating the Profiler.
    The Axe Fx excels at this in their software editor and is seamless to integrate.

    Yes, I wanted to use the Kempers midi output since I am controlling the changes with the Kemper Remote

    IF there is a better way to do this, let me know


    Does Rig Manager support any of this?

    IF not are there plans to add this to Rig Manager?

    I use mine with a GR55 and it switches flawlessly
