That would explain why you can't upgrade the Mk1. 
I haven't seen or heard about that video until this post. That's a serious accusation against Kemper from the IG'er.
Well, Kemper could easily tell us the differences to put this speculation to rest. It's been questioned on this forum and several others.
It is weird that we haven't been told what component upgrades were made given this is a piece of technology. Computers, tablets, phones, etc. all tell you what they upgraded when they release a new product.
Anyways, assuming Kemper isn't pulling a fast one - this is an easy fix for them. Just tell us what you changed.

The MK1 specs you show only relate to the Toaster and Rack MK1. The Stage was the first real upgrade of hardware since the original MK1. So it begs the question is the Stage, like the Player, really a MK2?
Ok so there is a video going around of the internal comparison between the Mk1 and MK2 stage. The video maker, which is an official verified Instagrammer, claims there are no hardware differences.

I don't like A.I. myself except for examining data which I do all the time. A.I. is extremely accurate depending on if you query it accurately.

I would add to this....I'm not into people trying to speculate on this stuff.
There is a point where I don;t care, I'm interested in the output and whether that is worth the money, not the how.
It would be like counting the components and saying they are only worth £xx, therefore Kemper is ripping us off...totally ridiculous. This amateur sleuthing carries no credibility with me... if its that easy, go create it yourself.
