Kemper Player with Morningstar MC6 Pro

I use the midi like a stomp box, mostly to control the effects most common between all my presets: tuner, delay, boost, chorus etc. I have a two slots that do different things based on the patch (fuzz etc). The Kemper itself I use to switch patches (default) and the middle button is usually compression since it is something I switch on/off a lot less than say boost. Also with the luminite you can get little remote controls you can stick on to your strap or guitar which are convenient if you happen to be running around the stage.

Stompbox via Midi Captain 6. Just Controlling: Boost, Pitch, Phaser, Tremolo, Delay and Morph. Unfortunately morphing is not fully bidirectional. I checked the Morningstars but you will find lots of indications in the forum regarding compatibility.
All five rigs are switched by the players buttons.

Just my two cents, but if you are going this route - at least price compare to just buying a Stage unit.

MC6 450€ vs. PA Mini 6 = 120€

Case for the stage is the same as a pedalboard.

VOL-/EXP-Pedal could be the same. Mine is half of ME pedals I owned

Player Lvl III ca. 880€ + 120€ + 50€ for cables = 1.050 € vs. stage 1.549€.

So a lot of savings possible with a player solution that is smaller and lighter but for sure less easy to setup. For me it is sufficient and less weight to carry around.

The kemper stage is great, but I can get everything I need for a gig into a regular backpack and a mono double guitar case. Also, sometimes the venue is tight and it is nice to have a smaller footprint. I do wish the player had a screen though. I'm hoping Luminite adds screen sync like some of the other devices have.
