Just got the MINI 6 to add some more switching options to the KPP - the Mini 6 powers up (so the Player's USB port is at least sending power) and I can put it in KPP LvlIII mode but there is no communication between the two.
- Kemper Profiler Player - Level III - (OS 14.1.2.66277)
- MIDI Captain MINI 6 (firmware 5.0)
- USB connection from USB-B on the Mini to the USB-A port on the player.
The MINI 6 powers up (so the Player's USB port is at least sending power) and I can put it in KPP LvlIII mode but there is no communication between the two.
Diagnostics so far:
- Confirmed the cable i'm using supports data transfer (It's how I updated the Mini 6's firmware)
- The Mini 6 is recognised by my Macbook as a MIDI device
- Tested in Level II mode on the Mini 6 - still no comms.
I've raised a ticket with both Midicaptain and Kemper, the former points to the KPP's USB port being at fault, I haven't yet heard back from Kemper (it's only been 12 hours so not complaining!)
Does anyone have any ideas?
