Kemper Profile 2.0 Collections [SkyLabs FX]

Hi everyone,

We have just launched a series of Kemper profile packs, and wanted to share one particular profile pack we are very proud of Pea V 6505. This release focuses on the Pea V inspired tones, including captures built from various gain and EQ settings, speaker combinations, microphone setups, and studio signal chain variations.

The collection contains 59 studio profiles. Our goal was not simply to create mix-ready profiles, but also to preserve as much of the amplifier’s dynamic behaviour, low-end response, pick attack, and feel as possible.

We’ve just released two new demo videos showcasing our latest profile packs our YouTube channel.

- 🔥E+VH51Fifty Kemper Profile 2.0 Pack Sound Check (Based on EVH5150 50W S)

Both videos focus on the tones, feel, and response of the profiles in a real playing context, with no post-processing tricks—just the profiles as captured through our analogue signal chain (Pure analog signal chain all the way until we hit Kemper).

We are extremely happy with the results.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Not sure if you checked out our web site and blog, but it is worth reading. With our profiles you are getting the all pure analogue signal chain with the top mic pres (SSL, API, BAE Neve, Shelford) routed for final analogue summing (where necessary).

Note that BE pack has quite a bit of liquid profiles (!).

We’ve just released a short demo video showcasing our latest Dual Rectifier Profile 2.0 pack. There is quite a number of liquid profiles. As you may all know Dual Rectifiers can be difficult to profile given their extended bass response, however, we had no issues with Profile 2.0 (!).

All mics from the cabinet goes into SSL mic pres. As always, pure analog signal chain all the way until we hit Kemper.

As for the demo song, there isn't a lot going on with the mix. We used a compressor in the Mix Bus and Logic's Mastering plugin.
