Yep, was always concerned about leaving my desktop on and in sleep mode when not in use but now I don’t however, I have gone through failed computer hardware twice. Was it due to being on all the time? Who knows.
I think I will follow through with my power cord with on/off switch.
As far as my phone, I have an iPhone with super duper battery saving technology that maintains optimal battery health and can handle hot pocket temperatures!
Should I use the standby switch on the Player? Will it foul those profiled tubes?

Maybe to help with rig manager sync? No that's not the model used (imho that would be very useful along with offline editing).
If that's truly a reliable, rtc, then it would help with some limited time trial/demo of the profiles. Any so many minutes/hours difference (use the absolute value to cover battery replacements), the trial would be over.
All Kempers are essentially a computer including the Player and use a battery (probably a 2032 type) to store startup settings (BIOS).
The little Player can get a little warm being plugged in for a day or two to my surprise.
