I am very disappointed. The new update killed my Kemper Profiler. When I turned it on, it keeps looping on the startup screen and it says "NO RESOURCE DATA." Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

First - that sucks.
If that’s what they recommend, you’re almost guaranteed not to fix it on your own.
They’ll give you a cost estimate once they see it - or they’ll just fix and ship it back.

Try this (as I read it from an older forum subjet) : put your usb key (or make one as told in the update manual) and boot your kemper while holding the both page < > keys, on tuner mode.
It forces the firmware installation while booting on the usb key. Now my kemper is working fine.
They're having me send it to Colorado. I do not want to spend a fortune fixing it.
Before you send it off, try updating using a USB stick. Contact support for details.

I inserted a blank USB drive into the back of my Kemper and now it works! Thank you, you're a lifesaver! But do I have to leave the USB in at all times in order for it to work? Because now, I don't want to remove it since it's not broken why fix it scenario.
No you don't have to leave it there. it should normally work without it now.

Just to clarify: To start a PROFILER via USB memory stick, you need an unzipped OS file (kaos.bin) in the root directory (highest level) of your USB memory stick, plug the USB stick into the PROFILER, then press and hold the two <PAGE> buttons while powering on. The PROFILER will start with the OS on that USB stick and automatically install that revision.
You don't need to power on into Tuner Mode. Any powering on will do the job.
Afterwards you can detach the USB stick.
Under some conditions it can be required to start with an OS version that differs from the version currently residing on that PROFILER. So if the process doesn't succeed with one OS revision, try another.
Player users hold the two FX1/FX2 buttons (not the knobs!!!) instead of the PAGE buttons while powering on. The rest is the same.
