Player LVL 3 trouble with cc11 Morph

    I've upgraded my KPP to Lvl 3. I can Morth when assigned to FS 1, but when I try to send cc11 from my MC4 Pro, it works perfectly once... then it never works properly again. I can restart the KPP and it works once, but never again. When cc11 is sent the red/blue indicator always moves property, but none of the effects set to Morth change after the first time? If I restart the Kemper, it works once - the first time, and then never again. I can also switch presets - and it will move the red/blue indicator, but not the effects... but if I restart, that preset will work only on the first press. Any ideas? Is cc11 not supported on the player? Thanks - hoping someone can help.

  • You need to be clear, if you want to emulate a Morph Pedal (CC#11) which is a continuous controller. It always comes with a value. CC#11 value 127 means Morph Pedal in toe position = Morph sound. CC#11 value 0 means Morph Pedal in heel position = Base sound. Any other values between 0 and 127 represent pedal positions between heel and toe.     Alternatively, you can trigger Morphing via button (CC#80). This button switches between base sound and morph sound using the ramps defined by Rise Time and Fall Time. This is from the manual:

    Morph Button (value 1-127 triggers ramp from Base Sound to Morph Sound according to selected Rise Time; value 0 closes transaction; next value 1-127 triggers ramp from Morph Sound to Base Sound according to selected Fall Time; if option “Momentary” is selected, value 0 triggers immediate return to Base Sound)
