Chorus Stereo Width Control

  • The Profiler Model referred to in this thread is ...
    ☑️ Profiler Head/Rack

Please add a stereo width control for how much the Chorus pans when placed after the amp. The second I engage it my sound changes completely in my IEM. It goes from centered to panned full left and right. Please add a control for this in the same way the double tracker has a stereo control.

  • Are you saying its floating from left to right? Like auto-panning? Are you using the Leslie preset?

I think he means the effect when a mono sound becomes a stereo sound with a stereo width of 100%. I tend to hear myself better in in ears when I switch chorus on, because in my in ears most instruments are centered. I should probably pan at least guitar and keys a little.

One work around would be to use Chorus before the amp instead, then it's mono. But a stereo width (and for me also tone control) for the choruses would be great indeed.

    You are correct.

  • Sorry, I'm trying to figure out what you are experiencing since I have not come across a problem using Chorus post amp.

As you mentioned earlier, why not try Chorus with the Double Tracker or a Chromatic Delay to see if that helps you?

Larry Mar @ Lonegun Studios. Neither one famous yet.

Appreciate the suggestion, but Kemper should (in my opinion) just put this parameter option in for the chorus effect. Other digital platforms are already doing this. It's super frustrating to engage a chorus post amp and it suddenly is panned wide left/right.
