Profiling 2.0 is here – what's next?

We needs a killer TriChorus

Player usability improvements would be welcome. Seems like iterative improvements here were cut short as the focus shifted to levels, fixed effects, and profiling.

There's so much more this little gem could do to be easier to use and utilize the hardware that is unused: push encoders, led colors, knob and button assignability, more capability to adjust to a room or instrument short of full locking (which will not be supported).

I am hoping for Cab 2.0 that works on Mk1 too.

Yheeeeaaaaaa....o I'm also hoping for further improvements...MK1 units got very different machine since the beginning, I really hope MK2 has room too grow...🤗

They talked about improvements for iIR import (to get them with the resonance control if I am not wrong).

But before I would definitely appreciate the fix of the ASIO and Generic driver that are still not working properly in the latest release.

I am waiting for the (imaginary) multitudes of dissatisfied mk2 owners to start dumping their profilers so I can afford one.

If we've learned anything from 2.0 and its release, you won't know about new features until they're near release, or actually released. But you can also expect (until seen otherwise) Kemper will stay in its lane. Kemper released "new" products under MK2 and the physical layouts lock a lot of things in place such as the effects chain order.

If you have specific features you want, put them in the request part of the forum.

...oh boy, have I seen this before. We will see.

No hate, love my old toaster and my Player, very happy about the new profiling. No one else supports a product like Kemper IMO. But, teasing a release for months or years beyond the original ETA is a time-honored tradition. Don't change a thing.

I heard Mk3 will come summer

I would just like to point out that Mk 2 did not in fact come in summer unless you live in the southern hemisphere and even in that case it was a bit late. Glad it did come though.
