Just bought my profile player and made the upgrade to level II and III.
Using headphones everythng is fine, but when I connect the TRS cables, the sound only goes to L side.
Even if I change to R connector, it does not work.
Is there something wrong?
You need to.connect both L+R. The TRS Jack are balanced, not stereo
So, the left side of the MONITOR OUT works with a cable and the right side does not using the same cable and the same receiving device socket?
And that applies to all Rigs and is not just caused by Panorama set to one side?
Burkhard I tested two cables (balanced/TRS), the left side worked fine. I can ensure that the cable was perfect.
All rigs, just left side using de Monitor Outputs.
I will try "factory reset" today, and test again.
This may have been asked but what does your output section look like? Have you tried using MONO to see if both sides work then? For example OUTPUT page 1 Main output = Master mono. This is more diagnostic than corrective.
OK, so we can be sure that it isn’t a rig setting like Panorama if everything sounds fine in the Headphones and you have tried Mono also.
You seem confident both TRS cables are working fine. What are they plugged into at the other end? You need to rule out a problem with the interface/mixer/speakers etc. it sounds like you have tested the cables by swapping L & R at the Player end. Now try the L Monitor Out (which you have said work) and swat the other end to the Right input on the receiving device. Do you now only hear the right signal or nothing? If R we need to look at the Player again if nothing you have confirmed the problem is with the receiving device.
What are you connecting the Kemper into?
Are the channels for the Kemper set full left and right in your interface?
I don't completely understand the setup, but one general hint:
Balanced cables can have twisted hot wires which turns the phase. Such cables work individually. But if you use a cable with normal wiring on one side and one twisted cable on the other side, send the same mono signal through both, and mix those signals at the receiving end, the mono signal gets completely cancelled. If there are stereo effects involved, just the wet stereo effect portion survives. That effect can be confusing.
