how to change Midi channels on the Midi Captain?

    Hi there, I am using the PySwitch freeware to control my Kemper Player via the Midi Captain from Paint Audio. It's working fantastic, great job!! and thanks a lot!:)

    Now, i bought a nice guitar plug in (the Cory Wong Archetype PlugIn from Neural DSP), which i run in my DAW (Pro Tools). There are some nice sounds in there, and its possible to control the plug in via a midi controller.

    So my question is: is it possible, within the PySwitch freeware, to direct an order to a switchbutton, which allows me to change the midi channel, in order control the plug in in my DAW, instead of the Kemper Player, without the need to reboot the Midicontroller via USB Mode.

    I want to use this in a live situation and want to switch back and forth easily, between controlling the Kemper and controlling the Plug In, via the same Midi Controller.

    i would suggest not using different channels because the Adafruit MIDI implementation is not easy on that. But, if you keep the commands separate, you could have both on the same channel. How flexible is the MIDI Specification of the Plugin?
