Rigmanager not completly shutting down on Windows 10

Hello Rigmanager latest version 3.10.13 is not shutting down completly on Windows 10 when trying to close the app. Player is also up to date.

Rigmanager closes but it is still running as process in the background. In this case when Rigmanager is still running as process i can not restart Rigmanager again.

If i end the process under taskmanager manually i'm again able to start rigmanager again.

Can this be solved? I have no other issues with Windows so it seems this is a problem for the Rigmanager software.

Edit: Funny when i have no player connected Rigmanager can be closed and started again without issues. So it seems Player is somehow preventing the rigmnanager from ending the process running under taskmanager.

I believe that's something you need to solve on your computer. Because we don't see that and we don't have any reports from other users. If it happens to anybody else, feel free to chime in.

Really funny, because others dont face the issue i have with rigmanager not completly shutting down on my windows 10. My topic completly fanished on this forum.

am i so ignorant that i thought Kemper was giving great support?

Kemper should be happy with my bug report to make Rigmanager even stronger in my opinion, no they simply ignore it

Next step is blocking my account on this forum? I dont mind really disappointed that they deleted my post

Well, I guess part of the issue is that Windows 10 is not supported anymore and is not really the future…

Why not upgrade to 11 ?

Do you shut down RM first and then the Kemper or vice versa?

Do you close right manager by clicking on the X in the upper right of the window, or do you click exit in the rig manager menu?

Because windows 11 gave me really bad audio performance as windows does not satisfy me at all

It is a fight for me between the general overall support of softawrae companies like Kemper and the bad performance of windows audio

Everytime i come back to Linux and the lack of support from the major audio software companies i over win

Linux rules if we talk about audio performance

Out of curiosity, what is your recording setup ? I use Windows 11 with an Apollo interface and I can't complain besides the occasional crash.

I had this happen once and something was going on with my USB (I use a hub, and I'm aware of Kemper's opinion on hubs). Anyway I straightened out the USB problem and that was the end of it so for me anyway it wasn't an RM issue.

I use presonus studio 68c which works flawless with Linux and even windows vst's work better within Linux then within Windows
