Likewise!

Wonderful. I assume Rig Manager 4 as well? My new Mk II arrives this weekend. Ready!

BTW, if y'all have not downloaded Tom Dill's "Value Crunch xx" profiles yet, do it now. Even in 1.0 form, they are incredible. I will keep my Mk I machine for a bit to compare. The recent Tone Junkie vid with Michael Britt was interesting. "taking the sheet off the tone" sounds accurate. But, this is just the beginning. The new hardware enables Kemper to advance moving forward. I am stoked.

Can´t wait to test it!
Depending on the results I'll buy a stage mk2 to pair with my player. G.A.S never ends.

In a way, I'm a little disappointed as the longer it goes on, the more likely people will get fed up and sell their MK2, so I was hoping to pick up a bargain ha!
Seriously I am joking, just hope they don't sell out now!!!

I watched the used mark I units on the market today 😉
Imo, the bargain is going to be there really soon 😉
The first heads are around 500/600€

Listening with earplugs. Not on studio monitors yet. But again, the real amp here sounds brighter, clearer and way more alive. The profile darker, congested and...not so good. Noticeable different. Quite similar to the first Thomas Dill Kemper short comparison. And again, I heard closer sounding profiles from Mk1 profiling.
Don't believe everything you hear on Youtube.

Very exciting re possible very soon 2.0 release!
I'll be very slightly annoyed if it's out this week, only because I've just finished recording a new track today with my MKii rack and it would have been awesome to use 2.0, but on bass and guitar I'm absolutley delighted with the results as is, would be even better with the extra dynamics of 2.0 ala Tones And Talks but nothing really lacking.

"This week" is kind of like "Summer". May 10th is next week, but on May 9th it will be "this week".

This is very promising. To my ears, 2.0 definitely sounded better. Hopefully, it's not staged in any way. The single tones were brilliant, though the chords sometimes sounded a little harsh/overwhelming, but this could be due to the amp, micing or my taste.

Can't wait for the release! No way anything there is staged or faked - that dude’s whole channel is straight forward Kemper tones and advice. Has been for years. He was toggling back and forth between ref amp and Kemper and we were hearing the Kemper processed audio and the mic directly, I’m sure of it.
Thought it sounded great too! -

Can't wait for the release! The Mod Slot at the Mk1 unit was not activated, but was active on the Mk2.
You are right. His tone on the 2.0 profile was very harsh. Almost like some vintage MD421 mics. But it did sound a lot smoother on the classic profile.
In the beginning of the video where he was foot switching between real amp and 2.0 profile, they both sound noticeable different. The real amps seems bright but not as harsh as the Kemper profile. But it is not a looped recording and a utube video.
I can't hear more 3D or removed layer. Maybe it is more a feel thing. -

On this demo and the demo he did with MBritt and the Ola V2 Profile demo ..... the Profiles are pretty much excellent however its clear to my ears that the Profile is ever so slightly under-gained compared to the real Amp.
If this is a consistent "thing" ...... hopefully this is an easy fix before going Public Release
