Xsonic Airstep to control Player via Bluetooth? and use Rig Manager via Wi-Fi at the same time?

    Can I control the Player using the Xsonic Airstep via Bluetooth?

    I searched but couldn't find anything online or here that confirms whether that's possible.

    I really hope it's a software problem....

    But this matter should have been the first thing to solve.

    I don't understand why 5 months after buying my unit it's still there ?!

    It's really boring to stream my music and having to restart my Player 5 times cause it crashes. This concern alone raises concerns about the reliability of the device.

    The only solution for the moment is NOT to use bluetooth :rolleyes: (in my case without wifi it crashes too)... It's incomprehensible for a 700€ (to 1000€) unit...

    Using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi simultaneously isn't reliable. Does that mean I CAN'T use the Xsonic (Bluetooth) and W-Fi to my tablet for Rig Manager?

    It's not recommended to use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the Player at once. It is unstable.
    You can use reliably one or the other. Switching in between them work reliably on my device.

    Via Bluetooth on the device you can't manage the device. You can connect to it and play through KPP.

    If I understand your use case correctly, the Xsonic use Bluetooth, so maybe you can use MIDI over Bluetooth. In that case you won't use Bluetooth from the Player. In that case it should be feasible. Wi-Fi will be enabled on the Player, Bluetooth will be disabled on the Player. I would search through this forum as there are users using MIDI over Bluetooth.

    Specifically, the wireless USB A dongle.


    I plugged it into the Kemper Player and the Airstep Multicontroller discovered and connected to it automatically.

    The whole set ($26 CDN) includes a wireless MIDI connector (MIDI In and MIDI Out) that also works with the Kemper Stage.
