so.. talking to GROK...
1) link output section to MASTER VOL
2) get my daw level right
3) unlock and now my MASTER VOL controls my Kabinet
could I assign a diff knob to DAW to hit that level instead of linking an unlinking? TIV
It all depends on what you are trying to achieve. I almost never touch the output level to my interface/DAW - set and forget. Your needs might be different though.
If you do need to adjust this regularly though, my suggestion would be to leave the Output Menu on page 2.
Leave Main Output unricked
Use the First Knob under the display to adjust Main Output instaed of the Master Volume knob
That way a simple quick press of the Output button takes you straight to the knob you need.
Same here, I leave my master output fixed at around -10 dB to the PA / FOH, and link the volume knob to my monitor out connected to a qsc k10.2 speaker. I also link that to the headphone out.
