Player Profiler - Dull Sound

Just got into the Kemper game and am not super impressed by the product. I am not giving up though. When I play through the headphone port it sounds great! Full would be the best way to explain it. But I run the XLR balanced line into the mixer and it sounds as flat as the prairies. Kone is shut off. Everything is factory setting as per Kemper. The gain structure is set up where it should be. My buddy's guitar (boss IR simulator and boss pedals) sounds full. Bright. Alive. And mine just falls back and sounds so dull. His gain structure is the same as mine. It has to be a setting issue that I am missing???

The Kone setting only affects the signal at the monitor outputs.

the Profiler sends a balanced line level signal at the XLR output. Make sure to connect it to a line level input on your mixing desk and not a microphone input.to avoid clipping.

Also check the output source setting for the Profiler and make sure it is set to Master Mono for the main output.

I am going XLR in to the Berhinger XR18. I have it set to Master Mono, -12 pad (not sure what that even means, although I’ve been told too). I was using Strymon Iridium and Flint before with 1/4” to the same input and settings on the mixer and it was no problem.

They sound identical. Front of house sounds fine. So it’s a mixer issue.
