Forgot to Switch Off Kone Setting

    Hi all,

    I have a Kemper Power Rack. At home I use it through a 1x12 speaker cab with a Kone fitted (Celestion G12 Heritage imprint preferred) or through 2 x 12 powered monitors (co-ax woofer & tweeter) for stereo.

    I am very happy with the sound.

    For band practice, I run the power rack through 2 2x12 open back cabs or a 4 x 12 slant cab.

    Again, very happy with the sound.

    Last night at practice, I thought the 2 2x12's sounded better than usual (imagination?).

    Today, when I set up my Power Rack at home, I realised that I had forgotten to turn off the Kone imprint setting and had been running the cabs with the Celestion G12 Heritage imprint and Bass Boost on.

    I'm curious if anyone else has had their 'guitar cab' sound improved by using a Kone imprint?
