All the clean profiles I tried so far all seem so dull. Can anyone point me in a good direction to get that Crispy funk clean, like Nile Rodgers?

What is the exact profile name pls?
Also search "rockman clean" in rig exchange ....
many funk sounds were guitar -> DI box -> mixing desk
preferably, use a guitar with two (real) single coils
in-between position of the neck and middle pickup
highpass filter, compressor, whatever EQ is necessary
... and maybe take a look into the "Definition" parameter in the stack section & tweak for more top-end sparkle as required ...

Whilst I do love positions 2 and 4 on a Srat personally. I've heard Nile say many times that he used the neck pickup of the hitmaker almost exclusively.
As an aside, while pos 2 and 4 are normally hum cancelling due to Reverse Wind Reverse Polarity middle pickup, they are still in phase. The "out of phase" name is another example of incorrect terminology like Leo calling the Strat's vibrato arm a Tremolo and the amp Tremolo the vibrato channel. The quack has these positions comes from the two pickups seeing different parts of the string and picking up different harmonics which do create a comb filter effect which is a dort of acoustic phase issue but the pickups themselves are still electrically in phase.

great info.
but as always, trust your ears.
pickups can sound wildly different, especially if used in an in between position. I get god funk sounds out of my neck, neck middle and middle pickup, with different levels of attack and body, and then there is the picking position and of course the pick itself.
check out the Nile Rodgers (Nil Rod) and Andy Summers (And Sum) rigs in Thomas Dill's excellent Tribute Collection (Rig Manager)

please read my thread about my own free one, and follow the instructions ( single coil, git vol pot on 5 , activate comp stomp D ) and disengage post fx as you like , this one is my goto for funk parts, that I do daily
I prefer neck SC, then carve off a bunch of low end with a low cut filter and turn it up to let the tele shine. Use any bright fender clean.
... and of course some compression.

how are you monitoring your sounds? (Kone, in ear etc)
What kind of a bright clean sound do you like? Can you give an example ?
