Hi and Lo cuts in stack cab

I noticed that making cuts in the cab (80 hz lo cut and 7,000hz hi cut) also affecs tone at my “real cab” monitor

I am using an amp/cab with monitor cab off

Is this the right way to make cuts at the monitor? I only see hi lo cuts at the main output, monitor output has B M T only

Shouldn’t it apply only at main out?
