Quite frustrating to have such great piece of equipment like Player which potentially COULD do low and high cuts easily.... but being forced to use outboard gear to fix that problem with boomy lows :(((

I also thought of getting some kind of XLR->TS Jack cable to connect Main Outs of Kemper Player to tube amp's return and use Main Out's Low and High cuts.

But that of course removes possibility to play into the PA at the same time(((

Still can't understand how could Kemper overlook such greatly important feature as Low and High cut filters on Monitor Outs. Looks like huge firmware flaw!

Does anyone know any compact EQ pedal to use to fix this issue ?

Thanks for the options. Checked those pedals - quite pricey just as solution to cut unnecessary low end... but seems that without outboard solution to the problem I will have to sell Kemper Player as it's unusable as for now for my application (playing live to PA and to tube amp's return at the same time).

If someone have more solutions which can do only Low Cut - please let me know.

It's really unusable without Low/Hi cuts on Monitor Outs.

Of course you can play only directly to PA (XLR out does have Lo/Hi cuts) and ask sound engineer to put your sound to IEM or stage monitors. But you loose real amp feel which I like when sound comes from head/real cab also...

Or you can make some XLR->TS cable and connect Main Outs to return of the amp and then mike the amp to get sound to the PA... But this is not great solution either.

Monitor Outs of Player were developed to be connected to stage monitors or amp's return. So why there are no options at all to shape those out's sound I really can't understand. And I can't understand how people are using Player right now without this feature.

Of course, I tried. But cutting bass by using Bass knob in the amp block can not solve boomy lows completely. That's why I cut the Bass to maximum (-15) and boost Mids and Treble to about +10. This way I have Bass at let's say -25 level and now 4x12 cab sounds fine without boomines.

But now if you try to connect Player to PA - sound coming from XLR out is too thin because all body is cut from the sound.

So, this is still not a solution. Solution is to have separate Lo/Hi cuts at different outputs (as different outputs serve different needs).

No, Kemper Player does not have BMT EQ at the Monitor Outputs. No EQ of any kind at this output is present.
