Unfortunately I don’t get what you are actually doing or of what your test comprises. By simply sending a few program changes once the Profiler won’t crash.

Ok Mr. timo, thanks for the reply.
I just discussed this issue with Mr. wilson, the author of midicaptain, it may be an adaptation issue that needs more testing work and maybe some technical guidance, I will contact support.
Thanks again!
hi... I'll do some testing too.. if it can be reproduced, we have a chance to try to fix the problems
Same problem here. It crashes using USB A Midi connection. ( Rack Head )
If i don´t use the USB A, can anyone tell me if doesen´t crash? Or downgrade will be wiser? ( Gig next Saturday ).
Upgrading the latest OS_11_1_54_55575 operating system at Kemper head:
After a full day of testing, I failed, the problem still exists, the MIDI function of the USB-A does not work properly
Hello!
Same crashes here. I´m using a Softstep 2.
Can you guess if i don´t use the USB A port for MIDI, this latest firmware will work fine or it´s wiser make a downgrade? Big gig Saturday.

No problem not using USB-A, you can use the 5-pin MIDI connector and it won't crash!

Unfortunately, the problem still exists. I have now tried the USB host function with a Line6 (FBV Shortboard MKII) and an M-Vave chocolate board (via USB-Cable) and the Kemper crashes after a few minutes. I tested both devices with Midi-Ox, they only send CCs when you press a button.
Is the Kemper sending something that is not being received/processed by the devices?
Should I open a ticket or does one already exist?
Please fix this problem, the player also works without hanging up.
We can reproduce the issue, but unfortunately a fix is not at the horizon ![]()
so: it has our attention, we're investigating, but we don't have a fix yet.

I'm happy to be a civilian tester while this issue is being fixed.
