I've downloaded the rig manager app to connect to the Kemper player but when I hit connect it gives me a message. It reads: Cannot connect to PROFILER. Please ensure that the rig manager app has access to devices in the local network. Any ideas? Had a friend of mine ask me to find in security on my phone but the app doesn't even show up under the apps. Not sure what is going on? Please help

Did you connect your iPhone to the Profiler WiFi?

My profile player and my iPhone are connected by bluetooth! But my rig manager starts in demo mode all the time because it doesnt find my player. So strange 🤔

Ztrata62 Bluetooth is for streaming music
WiFi must be used for using Rig Manager.

Rig manager doesn't start in demo mode. The demo mode is always there, even when Rig Manager finds devices to connect to. You need to use Wi-Fi instead of BT. BT is for streaming audio only. Details can be found in the manual.

Yes that was it. Put my iPhone in airplane mode and then was able to select the player's wifi. Thanks

Hi, i get the same error. Was a solution found for it please?
-
Why offer bluetooth if you can't run the rig manager from your iPhone. Bullshit for the amount of money paid. Mine only opens in demo mode. How stupid is this company?!

I just solved this issue for me.
Just as the app states you would have to grant permission for connecting to devices in you local network on you phone.
You find the setting on your phone under:
Settings - Privacy and Security - Local Network
There you can enable Rig Manager.
-
My iphone too wouldn’t connect in AP mode, despite access being granted, and multiple app uninstall/reinstalls.
Support’s response: “Unfortunatelly our experst have not seen such a scenario and have no explanation for it.”
Yet here is a thread demonstrating that the issue is not isolated to myself.
Fortunately, as suggested in this thread, and counterintuitively, the iphone connects to Player if the iphone is in “airplane mode”.
Seems the Kemper “experts” need to challenge themselves far deeper. The Player demands reliable connectivity yet it seems Kemper really hasn’t internalized that reality. -

I do not know, but T-Mobile is not my carrier… Rogers (Canada) is my carrier.

That would make no sense, would it? Then the iPhone couldn;t connect to anything, including the Kemper Player.
-
Airplane mode may initially disable WiFi and Bluetooth. However, both can remain active or be re-enabled and still leave cellular off.
That used to not be the case.
-
OK thanks. I turned cellular data off and that fixed the problem.

Yes, turn off cell data. It will instantly connect.
