I bought 2 Kemper Kone speakers recently, I'm trying to decide which cabinet to load them in to, I have a closed and an open back cabinet to choose from. Anybody have any recommendations, or experience with this?

In one of my bands I found the rear wash from an open back cabinet caused problems on stage. After a lot of complaints from the drummer I switched to a real powered Kabinet. No more issues.

Closed. (but not thread closed).

The Kabinet is closed-back.
I'd try them both and see which fits for you. No right or wrong answer unless circumstances (like vtgearhead's above) exist.

I’m a big fan of open back cabinets with my old amps. It all just depends on taste and how you want to use it. If you are using imprints and typically use Fender combo type rigs then open back with sound and feel more like the real thing. However, if you use imprints and Marshall type rigs or use the Kones in full range mode rather than imprints then closed back will probably be more your thing.
