Joking aside, I think Nickle allergies are probably more common than we realize! That must be a nightmare although I bet you still play better than me..

1. - I switched to Stainless Steel strings about 7-8 years ago and no problems since and 2- I can guarantee that I don't play better than you !

That never held for me.

Electrical tape. Pick one that’s good quality = not stiff.

Medical paper tape - pick one up from hospital or your doctor. $ store stuff sucks.
