Is it safe to transport the Toaster on its side in a backpack?

I recently got a bike, and have enjoyed riding it everywhere instead of driving. However, the Toaster and its accessories weigh too much to be carried around by a single shoulder strap for longer than a couple of minutes.

So far, I have not found a backpack wide enough to fit the Toaster in right side up, but on its side it would fit easily to any decently sized pack. Does the orientation matter, or would it be safe?

There are no parts inside requiring a certain orientation, so I'd have no issues.

Matter of fact, I used to put mine in a backpack early on. Worked fine.

You'd be much safer carrying the Kemper in a car. However, if you need to transport on your bike, I'd suggest the Foghat way to do it... Slow Ride.

I don't remember seeing a "this side up" on the packaging box, so, you're good to go.

It's a mechanical system, including the mechanical attachment of the components to the PCBs. Any shock on the unit is essentially a mechanical stress test. I would guess that inducing shocks is likely to reduce the lifespan of the unit.

I cant give you a definitive answer but I would be shocked if orientation made any difference.

Watch some of the profiles don't fall out of the gaps in the back. Other than that should be fine.
