Not that it's a huge problem, but I was in the habit of charging my wireless transceivers on the USB A out port on the back of my toaster. Sometime in the last two updates it seems to have gone off. Any thoughts?

The USB ports on the Profiler are not meant for charging. You may have damaged the port...
-
It’s a possibility
-
Yep. That port was never meant to charge anything.
Kemper has said something akin to "If it works for you great....but that's mostly dumb-luck and may not continue."

I got away with it for ages, I'll try a usb stick and see if it still works

The news is not good

Shelf that, all is well. I tried turning it off and back on again

It powers my little TPLink access point..
The USB spec is .5A, which is plenty for that NanoRouter...

Powers my meloaudio midi Commander fine.
The midi commander also has a two AAA powering option and you can put rechargeable batteries in it and they are supposed to recharge with USB connection but I’ve never tried it. So based upon the above threads that might damage my profiler? -
Nah. The port will only give what it can.
No worries.
