[SETUP] Kemper installation with Kemper Kab/Boss RC 600/Computer with monitoring speakers.

Hello there !

I've just bought the Kemper Kab (Non powered) to go with my Powerhead.

Before that i was just using my Kemper with a boss RC600 and the monitoring speakers plugged to my computer. Was plugged just like that : Guitar to front input/Both XLR main outputs from the Kemper rear to my boss RC 600 IN/Both RC600 OUT to my audio interface that is plugged to the computer and monitoring speakers.

Thing is now, i got the Kemper Kab to add to that so it cannot be plugged like that.

I managed to do another setup which was : Guitar to front input/Both XLR main outputs from the Kemper rear to my boss RC 600 IN/Both RC600 OUT to the Kemper rear "Alternative Input", and i had to turn the "Aux monitor In" insite the Output Menu.

I get the sound from everywhere (Kemper Kab, Computer and tho monitoring speakers) but the problem is that i got some noise coming with it on the Kemper Kab.

So i was wondering if anyone had a setup including a computer, a kemper kab, and a looper with it, or any others propositions !

I would put the RC600 in a loop on the Kemper. If you want to capture all the Kemper FX including Reverb and Delay then place the Loop in the Rev slot. If you want to capture playing without Rev and/or Delay place the Loop earlier in the FX slots.

What do you mean the loop in the rev slot ? I don't really know how to plug the thing that way.

Have a look at Page 270 in the Main Manual if you are running Kemper OS 8.x or Page @82 if you are running the 9.x Beta version.

You can download the manual here if you don't have it already.

It's too long winded to type here but the manual should explain everything you need but if you have any specific questions after that don't be afraid to ask and someone will answer.

I think i figured it out.

U meant to use the last effect box as a loop, plugin the RC 600 to the rear send and return i guess ?

If anybody is having kind of the same setup please reach, i'm having trouble to get this all work together by reading the Manual.
