Long Time Digial, First Time Kemper

Hey Team!

Been fully digital for several years and my very first Kemper was delivered today! It's immediately the pure amp tones I've been missing from other units. 10/10, would recommend.

Are there any efficiency tips and tricks I need to know? I'm using the Non-powered head with the remote. Already setup a few performances and it's amazingly seamless when switching presets. I know there is a learning curve with any new piece of gear, but, any tips are appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! First thing is to read the manuals and watch all the tutorial videos. Also, if you haven't already done so, install Rig Manager and get access to the Rig Exchange.

The Definition control in the Amp module is your friend. I tweak that before I touch anything else.

The main manual is quite thorough. Always a good place to start. It’s a *very* deep box, so keep that handy.

I would recommend learning about morphing feature. I find it very useful.

Hello and welcome, make sure to save any cabs that you really like, switching cabs can massively transform/ improve a "weaker" profile, cheers

Can you elaborate on the Rig Exchange? It’s all just free user created profiles? Do you just drag and drop from rig exchange to the “my profiles” section?

Yes to all above, or you can copy/paste. It also gives you access to the free Kemper rig packs.
