I was wondering if anyone can point me to some good profiles for a good twangy country Tele sound?
Maybe a Brad Paisley type of thing.
Thanks

Have you tried any of the Matchless profiles? There are several available.

Thanks for the tip and I'll check out the Matchless profiles.
There's so many I've just been trying different amps with different guitars to try and find some favorites. Got to the Telecaster and started thinking of this kind of sound.
He was playing Dr Z Zwreck. You can check for those and a tube screamer in front when needed.
The closest I got to Brad Paisley's tone (and believe me, I'm DAMN close) was with the factory rig called 69. I think it's a Vox AC30.
It's always very important to realize that Brad really varies his taste in gain sometimes - but most of the time, he runs a moderately overdriven tone.
Totally required modifications:
- Amp EQ and Gain tweaks (not much, the tone's already there)
- Add a compressor in front of the amp, set it up to taste
- Add a slapback delay, again, set to taste
- Add a little reverb, that's just there, and again, set to taste
- Modify the amp's deep paramteres, especially Clarity. Turning up clarity makes the tone very stable, turn it up around halfway or so.
I use a Squier Affinity Telecaster, and I feel like I'm as close as I can get with this guitar.
I have to run right now, but in the evening, if you want, I can upload the "final" version of this rig that I've created, which is good for 90% of Brad Paisley songs.
Cheers
...please, upload your rig!!
Thank you sooo much!

Thanks everyone for the advice. And richaxes - thanks for that 69 patch advice and the tips for Clarity. I had tried that one with a Les Paul and it didn't jump out at me, but for this with a Telecaster it's very good.
Hope you get a chance to post your rig. I'd like to see what other changes you've made.
Hi guys!
Here's my latest version of the rig, it's mostly based on the song "Ticks". Stomp B is a Compressor which should be on all the time, Stomp A is the fixed wah effect for the Verse tones, and the Mod slot is a tremolo set to more or less correctly with the original song's tempo.
Here's my cover of Ticks with this particular profile:

And here's the profile.

I hope you'll like it as much as I do! Enjoy
Edit: sorry about butchering the song, I'm still working on my country chops
Also, let me throw in my cover of BP's The World with roughly the same rig, it's just an earlier version of it:

Great job on the Brad song. The kipr links not working.
Thank you guys!
Sorry about the link, it looks like file names with many spaces are not preferred by my free server provider.
