Hi.
I would like to know what are your settings of the Low Cut settings in the Output Filter of Output?
Please, I prefer no discussion if low cut is unneccessary or senseless or not needed.
I only would like to know your settings.
Thanks!

Low Cut: Off
-
80.6Hz
-
I have it off. When I mix guitars, kick drum and bass I usually low-cut the guitars around 130 hz. Sometimes a bit lower.
-
Depends on what you’re doing.
If I just play alone on monitors : no low cut
When I play live I cut about 80-90 to keep some body in my iem and let our sound engineer do his job and he generally cut at 150.
-
For live use I have it turned off, so the FOH engineer can set it for the venue. and when I record, I adjust the individual tracks in my DAW.
-
80 Hz cut is my starting point. After that it's all about what the track needs.
-
Low Cut: Off

I think it has a lot to see with the kind of music you play. I'm into rock music, from clean to dirty, but not into metal. And I find that for sounding convincing I have to cut from... Let's say 250.
-
Not and necessary and pointless.
Every DAW has corresponding filter banks, every FOH digital mixer nowadays has input filters.
It cannot be used in the monitor path where it would make sense because it always filters the main out as well.
For me, stay away.

"100 Hz" for Live-use, "Off" for studio-work

That's the way I did it until now.
What happens, if I use the Low Cut at 120 for live, so the FOH can (but doesn't have to) set additionally a Low cut which has (maybe) no effect, if it is f.e. also at 120 ? -

Isn't 250 a little bit high?

Since I adjust it in the DAW when I record, I leave it off in the Profiler, instead of needing to turn it on and off, depending on the application.

Ok. Thanks.

It depends on what guitar/pickups you use. String gauge and tuning. How much bass is on the profile(s).

Yes, of course. Seems to be a very individual thing.
